Deze is vrijwel hetzelfde als de vorige week gereleasde 1.3.125 (alleen heeft de 99.x versie de BDlite mogelijkheid).

Ik heb gisteren 99.3.126 getest, maar bij mij werkte het niet goed. Ik kan mijn shares niet meer benaderen en de tvix loopt vast. Ik ben weer terug naar 99.3.111 dus.

99.3.126 = 1.3.125+BDlite
99.3.111 = 1.3.110+BDlite

Anderen hebben er geen problemen mee met deze laatste release lees ik op mpcclub.

Heeft iemand al de filmware 1.3.125 getest.

Probeer het uit zou ik zeggen. Waar draai je nu mee? Heb je problemen ergens mee? Speel je muziek, film, foto's ; ik bedoel wat zoek je?

Ik zag in deze 125/126 FW een nieuwe optie in het menu, iets met jukebox, weet niet precies wat het is.

Zelf heb ik de 99.3.111 en heb geen problemen, ik wilde alleen maar weten of iemand anders de nieuwste al getest heeft.
Je hoord er zo weinig van.

Vraagje: Als ik de TVix6500 aan zet en een mkv film gaat kijken is de ondertiteling in het begin onstabiel.
Het is net of de ondertiteling het in het begin niet bij kan houden, maar naar een paar minuten is het voor bij.
Kan ik iets verkeerd hebben staan in de settings ?? Of is daar gewoon niets aan te doen.

Official DviCo Discussion: Firmware 1.3.132 (Blu-Ray) This is a beta version which supports Universal Jukebox (including BDMV structure) function. The beta version of TVIX software is not fully tested and supported when you have a problem. If you are interest in this new function with possible bugs, feel free to download and try. Supporting HDMV files (UJukebox function)

1. The main feature of this firmware is to select a certain audio track or subtitle out of several sorts of those when playing HDMV structured files stored in the HDD.
2. This version of firmware doesn't support all functions of 'BDMV' folder, especially the files with profile 1.1 and 2.0 due to the limitation of the hardware.
3. The folder structure should be the same as the original one, otherwise TViX doesn't playback your HDMV files properly, protected files and the files with HDMV region code either.
4. The 'Popup Menu' when pressing the 'Menu' button of the remote control while watching HDMV files is either original graphic menu that the title supports or simple menu that Dvico made.
5. There are two ways to playback HDMV files
A. In case that you set the 'Smart Navigation' to 'Smart' in the TViX Setup Page, HDMV files automatically playback with selecting the main folder.
B. In case that you set the 'Smart Navigation' to 'Normal' in the TViX Setup Page, you need to select 'index.bdmv' files in the HDMV folder.
6. Possible to add the subtitle that HDMV files doesn't't have.
A. If you want this additional subtitle to be default one, put the file on the same folder index.bdmv located and name must be 'index.xxx', for example, index.smi.
B. Possible to change to the additional subtitle while watching by using the 'Function' button on the remote control.
7. To change a subtitle language to another one while watching, either press the 'Menu' button or the 'Subtitle' button on the remote control.
8. To change audio track, press the 'Audio' button on the remote control.
9. To go to another chapter, press' |◀◀' or '▶▶|' on the remote control or you can press 'Go to' key on the remote.
10. You can use 100 times this version of firmware. The TViX automatically counts down from 100, but it counts one in spite of playing HDMV files 10 times unless you boot the TViX.

*** Possible to play HDMV structured files compressed by ISO format, but you've got to select the file even if setting the 'Smart Navigation' to 'Smart'.


Setting the UJukebox Mode in the TViX Setup Page.

1. Set to the 'Lite'.
Dvico simple menu pops up always.

2. Set to the 'Basic'
The original graphic menu appears that the title supports. And Dvico simple menu pops up in case of the HDMV files with the menu TVIX don't support.

HDMV files in IFO folder structure and ISO files.

Most HDMV files stored in IFO folder structure mainly consist of 'BDMV' and 'Certificate' folder. As explained above, there are two ways to playback the HDMV files, Smart Navigation and selecting index.bdmv. For stable performance, we recommend not to change the folder structure.
Files in ISO format must be selected to be played even if setting 'Smart Navigation' to 'Smart'. ISO files may playback smoothly when played through the network.

Caution.

*** An HD audio receiver and HDMI 1.3 cable are necessary to playback HDMV files.
*** In the TViX Setup page, set the 'Audio' to 'Digital', 'HDMI Audio' to 'On', and 'HD Audio Pass Through' to 'On'.
*** It may not work properly in case of no 1.3 HDMI cable, HDMI to DVI connection and analog video mode.
*** Playing HDMV files in public places is strictly prohibited due to the laws and regulations related with license.
*** We recommend to set the 'Auto Switch' in the TViX Setup page to either 'NTSC/1080p24Hz' or 'NTSC/PAL/1080p24Hz', otherwise the resolution of subtitle and menu may not be clear or vivid. It's one of the hardware limitations.

Is er al zicht op het afspelen van HD-ISO films??
Heb er nu een paar met HD geluid, maar hij doet het niet.

Wat dacht je van OCZ toont 3.5" 1TB SSD en bloed snel.
Alleen de prijs moet je lief nemen, De prijs van de Colossus zal in de buurt van de 2500 euro komen te liggen.
Maar dan is je 6500 muis stil.

Ik heb al een erg stille HD. Het gaat meer om het kastje zelf, dat maakt behoorlijk wat lawaai

In het begin, toen de ik de V1 van de 6500 nog had was er meer fan geluid hoorbaar. Ik heb toen het frontje eraf gehaald en de kast geopend om de fan te vervangen door een Papst fan van 4cm rond en 1cm diep (de originele is 35mm rond en 5mm diep) die wat langzamer draaide. Door de grotere maat paste het niet exact en kon hij mede door het wifi luikje (zonder wifi module) naar buiten blazen. Daar werd ie toch wel stiller door. Met de vernieuwde hardware versie V2 was de 6500 van zichzelf al wat stiller en heb ik de kast niet weer open gemaakt.

Ik neem aan dat je in het menu van de tvix al wel voor de fan stand LOW hebt gekozen? Dat scheelt namelijk ook al wel wat.

Damn, hij stond op Normal 
Waarschijnlijk heb ik heb een jaar geleden op Slow gezet, maar is ie door firmware update weer op Normal gekomen. Nooit meer naar gekeken.

bij mij stond output altijd op 1080p, staat nu op Auto Edid.
Ik heb het idee dat het beeld nu scherper is dan voorheen. Kan dit?

Changes from 1.3.129
1. Fixed NTP server option is disabled when IP is get properly
through DHCP server.
2. Now TV connection type is set to HDMI even if the EDID is not get
from HDMI.
3. Imporved Enhanced AC3 stream on recorded streams through a tuner.
4. Network stream performance is optimized.
5. For DTV, fixed the recorded file name is not correctly set for
the som Czech stations.

Known issues and limitations for Video related
- Some TP/TS information may not correct.
- When HD Audio pass-through is on, S/PDIF does not output.
- When HD Audio pass-through is off with HD audio stream, the
playback is not smooth.
¡Û When DTS audio setting is digital, HDMI audio is ON and HD
audio pass-through is set to ON, then audio is not heard on the SPDIF
output.
¡Û For the same setting, if HDMI audio is set to OFF, then it
sounds through the SPDIF output.
- Some TP/TS files may cause the system rebooting.
- Some WMV may not play correctly.
- The digital output for AAC/WMA is disabled.
- Does not support PCM audio track on MP4 now.
- TVIX may not get IP from DHCP server after change between DTV and
Player modes and this can be solved by retrying DHCP on the setup.

Known issues for Audio and pictures playing
- For MP3 files with low sampling frequency, the TVIX might crash
while playing or trick play like FF or RW.
- M4A files are not supported now and AAC may not play correctly.

Known issues for PVR
- After channel changed, you may not here audio in short time. . To
work around it, you can press DTV key or Audio key on the remote.

Known issues for general issues
- If you play files without refreshing the file list after delete
files through FTP or SAMBA server, the system will reboot.

*** If you play files with HD audio tracks like Dolby TrueHD, ,
Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD MA or LPCM, you better turn on HD Audio pass
through on the setup even though you don¡¯t have a receiver that supports
decoding of these formats. Otherwise, you will hear strange noise with
some repetitive popping noise. Currently, we don¡¯t support core
decoding, if you don¡¯t have a HD audio decoder receiver, you need to
select other then these HD audio tracks audio track for now.

Hoi,

ik ben sinds een paar weken ook de trotse eigenaar van een TVIX 6500. Echt een gewelding apparaat!

Ik heb er echter wel wat problemen mee. Soms tijdens het spelen van een film geraakt het beeld langzaam uit sync, en na een tiental seconden loopt de TVIX vast. Als ik hem dan even uit heb gezet en weer heb aangezet is het voorbij. Ook de film afspelen op 480P ipv 1080P (TV-out) loste het probleem langzaam op. Dat is de reden waarom ik denk dat het een oververhitting probleem is. Ik heb de fan al op fast gezet, maar dat geeft weinig resultaat.

Ik speel enkel 1080P materiaal af, dus het is wel hard werken voor de TVIX, maar daar is ie dan ook voor bedoeld.

Heeft iemand een ander idee over wat het zou kunnen zijn? Ik zie namelijk dat veel van jullie de fan zelfs op slow hebben staan...

Ik heb mijn PCH geretourneerd omdat hij toch niet deed wat ik hoopte. Voor ik naar de tvix ga kijken zou ik graag nog bevestigd horen dat hij met de nieuwste firmware wel kan streamen met een bedraad netwerk?

Ik heb er wel een interne disk in zitten van 500GB maar die gebruik ik eigenlijk niet (alleen voor firmware). Er staan wel films op.
Ik gebruik altijd m'n netwerk drives via gigabit. Ik heb een windows PC met NFS (hanewin NFS) en ik heb een linux PC met NFS. Ik speel ook wel eens vanaf de woonkamer PC met Samba en dat werkt eigenlijk ook wel goed (hoewel dat meestal kleiner materiaal is).
Met de tvix speel ik 1080p mkv files en ook volledige bluray rips in folder structuur (niet ISO).

DVD en divx materiaal speel ik eigenlijk nooit. DVD werkt wel OK (ISO en folder structuur) via het netwerk.

Ik denk er wel aan om te upgraden naar een Dune 2.0, of een PCH C200 binnenkort. BD iso support zou ik willen. En ook beter supprt voor films met trueHD track waarvan ik de DD track wil kunnen spelen. Dat doet de tvix niet.

Ok, hartstikke bedankt voor de volledige review. De tvix staat bij mij nu wel bovenaan. Maar ik kijk ook nog even naar de xtreamer. De eerste doos schijnt bij iemand gearriveerd te zijn. Nu nog een review!

Als je een SRT bij een Bluray wil voegen, in welke directory moet je dat dan doen?

Volgens mij kan je in tsmuxer een srt en een m2ts samenvoegen waarna tsmuxer de srt in een PGS converteert. In het subtitle tabblad kan je wat met font, positie en size instellen.
