Ik ken Arcam qua geluid, aansluiten hier ter test is mij teveel gedoe , de JTRs pikken bijna alles  :headbanging: en Dirac is een voorwaarde.
Dan is het deze of Emotiva. :D
Die marantz is mijn droom pre.
Maar heb er niet even de centjes voor  ;D

Duidelijk ik vroeg me af wat je motivatie was de marantz weg te doen.

Het lijkt mogelijk of ik ga afzien van een hoop, maar er komt weer een zeer fraaie set te staan.

Zo zal de Class G van deze Arcam met de JTRs rendement zeer waarschijnlijk maken dat ik een 7 kanaals weergave voornamelijk in Klasse A verkrijg.

De Powersoft op de subs zal de Crowns overtreffen en Dirac maakt dat ik nog maar 1 DSP laag heb.

Wat ik beschouw als de basis, akoestiek en speakers, blijft intact.

Ik heb de JTRs destijds, buiten alle andere kwaliteiten, ook aangeschaft wegens hun aanstuurgemak.
Ze kunnen absurd veel vermogen aan , maar ook met een beetje receiver gaan ze hand in hand.
Het receiverscenario was dus vanaf de start al in beeld en deze wending/stap is dus zeker niet impulsief of ondoordacht.

Hoewel ik het spul leuk vind , mij er best in verdiep en tijd en geld in steek blijf ik het een middel vinden.
Om tot ( een voor mij ) goede weergave te komen.

Ik heb Arcam zelf niet overwogen en zie dat ik mezelf voorlopig tekort heb gedaan.

Zeker icm Dirac lijkt mij het een mooie versterker!

Thanks en ik ben ook benieuwd.

Voorlopig heb ik eerst eea te verkopen.
En de afgelopen jaren is de 2dehands markt naar mijn ervaring behoorlijk grillig geworden.
Aan het spul zal het niet liggen. Alles is in topconditie en een demo trekt elke twijfelaar alsnog over de streep. :D  :devil: :music:

De Marantz zal iig het laatst aan de beurt zijn.
Zo kan ik ten alle tijde nog met een 2.2 setup ( Marantz 7702 Mk2, Powersoft M20D op de fronts, Powersoft K3 op de subs) luisteren en kijken.
Lijkt mij ook een interessant systeem. :devil:

Enkel de interne streamer vind ik beperkt, 44/16 max.
Dus geen Hi-Res of Hi-Res meerkanaals.
In de bekende formats, dat wel.


Ik zal dan voor een externe kiezen. Bluesound bijvoorbeeld.
En dan digitaal naar de AVR.

Ik heb Roon dus dan zal er tzt een Meridian MS600 bijkomen. In eerste instantie zal een SBT (ook een Roon eindpunt) digitaal naar de 850 ook prima klinken natuurlijk.  :thumbs-up:

Het is prima zo, maar toch wel een apparaat waar ik 9 jaar enorm van genoten heb.
Ietwat spijtig derhalve zonder negatieve lading. :)

Eén SDA lijkt ook op het vinkentouw te zitten en de Linn DS is inmiddels ook beschikbaar.
