McIntosh heeft met de MX-150 wel roomperfect in meerkanaals.
En natuurlijk Steinway Lyngdorf.

Ben wel benieuwd naar de minidsp, maar hoop wel dat ze de BR speler dan bij alles de decoding laten doen anders wordt het een scheef vergelijk. De minidsp kent enkel lpcm in.. Atmos wordt dan wel lastig.

De Mini DSP is idd een interessant product en biedt veel waar voor het geld.
Ze gaan meestal secuur te werk ondanks het bier en de armworstelwedstrijdjes. ;D

Dat is een goeie tip,ga nu weg maar morgen of later wel even lezen.
Lijkt me een zeer mooi topic.

Doen ze wel goed die amerikanen.
Doen ze met sub,s enz ook,nu een grote shootout mbt dsp.
Erg goed bezig die mannen,zouden we hier ook moeten doen eigenlijk.
Kijken of de uitkomsten hier nog anders zijn ivm andere bouwmaterialen.
Daar meer hout,hier meer beton......

Het "voelt" al heel veel beter. ;)

Aangezien de Dual Core ook als DAC full range dienst doet ben ik ook wel benieuwd.

Kleine set gaat trouwens op de schop.
Linn Akurate Kontrol/0 staat al te koop.
Zodra deze weg is volgen de luidsprekers, Xavian XN250 EVO's.
Luidsprekerkabels ook, Shunyata Gemini 3 m.

Vanmiddag heb ik 3 kandidaten voor de kleine set beluisterd.
PSI Audio A17-M, PSI Audio A21-M en ,onbedoeld, Neumann KH 120A.
De laatste maakte de meeste indruk en is werkelijk een koopje.
Het was een grote ruimte en zelfs daar klonk dit onderdeurtje lekker.
De A-21M klonk het meest volwassen en dat zowel near- als midfield.
A-17M was echt heel fraai nearfield, preciezer dan de 21, maar op 2 meter of meer zakte het beeld wat in. Minder body.

Eerst nog eea verkopen en gezien het gebruik streef ik naar de 21M. :)

RalphH is net weg.
Het was erg leuk, met nog een kort bezoek van CZ79(Chris) die de BOTW kwam ophalen.

Ik schat dat Ralph eea zal neerpennen hier mbt zijn ervaringen.
Surround hebben we scenes uit Oblivion gekeken, Marillion concert en Beyoncé visual album.
Met name de laatste kent echt woest laag tijdens de intro , waar we even van hebben genoten. :devil:

Haha, hmpffff.
Planningsfoutje, bollen horen er normaalgesproken wel bij natuurlijk. Houdt ruimte over voor een return ;D.

Was een erg geslaagde middag, zeer indrukwekkende set, het laagfundament geeft je automatisch een glimlach van oor tot oor waarvan je een uur later nog kramp in je bakkes hebt :clapping:.

De hele set speelt met een gemak waar je bang van wordt, het gaat maar door en zonder vermoeiend te gaan klinken.
Het viel me op dat de klank van de JTR Noesis' (naar mijn idee) best dicht in de buurt ligt van mijn eigen Tannoy's. Eeeeen... daar eindigt dan de vergelijking ;D. Denk namelijk niet dat ik op dergelijke niveau's kan spelen zonder de boel compleet over de zeik te helpen ;D ;D. Dit is ook een verdienste van de geweldige subs en hun aansturing natuurlijk.

Qua akoestiek en afstelling is het ook goed voor mekaar. Ruimtelijk, snaarstrak, luchtig, erg fijn om naar te luisteren, zowel in stereo als surround.

Maar het laag....aiai, dat gaat echt nergens over. Strak over het hele bereik en weinig nagalm, wat het dus ondanks het volume en hoeveelheid laag, erg aangenaam luisteren maakt. Nergens modderig dus veel detail.

Edwin, hartelijk dank voor de gastvrijheid en leuke middag. Je hebt echt een topset staan die zoals ie er nu staat, eigenlijk geen verbetering meer behoeft en waar je nog jaaaaaren plezier van kunt hebben.
Van de sets die ik tot nu toe gehoord heb, kan ik wel stellen dat dit voor mij de meest indrukwekkende en uitgebalanceerde was, puur genieten. :thumbs-up:

Fijn om te vernemen dat je genoten hebt.
Daar is het uiteindelijk om te doen. :)

Het was best een puzzel om in de ruimte een goede weergave te verkrijgen en het verliep niet zonder slag of stoot. :D
Akoestiekaanpassingen én DSP én de juiste speakers blijken, bij de zeker niet optimale opstelling,
een gouden combi.
Je geeft al aan dat het , als de directe weergave je aanstaat , nooit stoort of zaken opvallen ongeacht volume.
Daarmee is mijn set inderdaad naar wens en , in principe  ;D, voltooid.
Zowel HT als muziek zijn telkens weer een bron van vreugde.

De Tannoys die ik heb gehoord hebben idd ook dat onverhulde en snappy geluid.
Dat was ook het streven na mijn langdurige speeltijd met Dynaudio.
Met de JTRs , hoewel goed ingelezen toch wat ongewis gezien ruimte ,omvang en plaatsing ,
heb ik dat nu en zal het voorlopig  ;) zo blijven.
