Regenachtig weer plus vrije middag plus wat zin ............maken dat ik REW en de meetset weer eens tevoorschijn heb gehaald.

Ik was benieuwd naar de invloed van openstaande deuren naar aangrenzende ruimtes.
Met name de deur open naar een gang geeft wat meer respons < 30 Hz, altijd goed  :D, en boost ,een voor mijn oude bekende,51 Hz.
-1,5 dB L&R op de subs bij 51 was afdoende en het resultaat mag er zijn.
Nog wat strakker , meer ruimte en detail. :music:
Die deur blijft dus in het vervolg open. :exclamation: :tounge2:

Maar weer eens ervaren dat grafieken met (flinke) smoothing écht ongeschikt zijn om alles te zien en aan te pakken. Toole beschrijft dit trouwens ook.

Gisteren heb ik een set fraaie speakers beluisterd met een vriend die in de markt is.
Klonken echt lekker.
Maar als ik dan weer hier ben ........wow. Wat een dynamiek ,resolutie en met name IMPACT. :inlove:

Zooooo, ik heb net even wat meer en steviger kunnen spelen dan gisteren en die eerste indruk was juist.....en meer.
Of het ooit nog beter kan lijkt op dit moment een overbodige vraag  :wub:,al weet ik wel waar.
150-300 Hz loopt de respons terug en ik kan in dat gebied niets met handmatige EQ.
Vraag is ook nog of dat de ruimte of de speaker is.
Er zijn aanwijzingen op AVSforums dat dit de native respons van de LP versie in dat gebied is.
Dit ivm near- wall plaatsing.
Bij mij staan ze  80 cm van de voorwand en er is geen ruimte dichter op die muur te plaatsen.

Enfin, voorlopig weer lekker spelen. :music:

Ik zal trouwens nog wel de metingen van gisteren plaatsen.

Geluid is niet zozeer overweldigend maar  opmerkelijk "echt".
Hoe dit dan weer tot stand komt is zeer de moeite waard om te bekijken. ;)

Onze bouw werkt idd vaak niet mee.
Als je mijn ruimte en opstelling ziet is het resultaat des te opmerkelijker.
Deze is niet dedicated , al zijn er wel treatments, en ik speel op de korte kant.

Prettig is ook dat buiten de LP's het laag best netjes blijft en dat de set daar lang niet zo luid klinkt.
Dit ivm de buren.

Zojuist een Teradak 12 V linear PSU besteld.
Deze is bedoeld voor de Anti-mode 2.0 Dual Core in de kleine set.
Momenteel staat daar een BOTW.
