En back. Massieve binding posts, echt JTR .

De constructie is super. Eén en al heft.
24 mm berken multiplex, mooi freeswerk ,ruw voorkomen  (grittex look/lak). Ik vind dat (inmiddels) fraai. 8)
Frontje klikt magnetisch.

Deze zijn al groot, wat doen de 212's ? ( al was ik snel gewend aan de Captivators)

Ik heb de verpakking maar weggesneden, aangezien ie er te makkelijk uitfloepte.
Toen nog de verpakking in de vuilstort versneden. Ai, stevig karton.

De 228 ,maar dan in superlatieven.

Komende week pas echt tijd om te plaatsen.

Daar zijn ze op gebouwd en stralen ze uit. Pfoeh, indrukwekkend.
Bij de Captivators was dat ook heel sterk.
Samen uitgepakt toen en we schoten in de lach zodra de eerste zichtbaar werd.
Zat niet eens foam of omdoos om.

Naarmate ik nu langer kijk , raak ik steeds meer benieuwd wat ze gaan doen. :music:

Die PA drivers zullen idd wel goed de midbass weergeven.
Iets wat hierhoven nog eens zwaar onder de loep moet.
Ik wil eigenlijk 2 grote woofers bij me monitoren ,en dan een 3 weg filter bouwen
Maar geld en de kennis de filters te maken ontbreekt me.

Maar het kriebelt wel een hel poos,dus komt wel een keer  :)

2de indruk is dat het wel meevalt in omvang.
Ze zijn voornamelijk hoog en breed, frontaal, maar niet diep (32 cm).

Volgens Jeff zijn ze makkelijk in plaatsing de 212 HT LP's , gesloten , hoorn en ondiep dus.
Heb sterk het idee dat inderdaad bijvoorbeeld dicht op de wand evt met een beetje DSP probleemloos zal blijken.

De 228's doen geblokt en daarmee wat lomper aan.

Daar gaan monitors idd vaak mank.
Hoe fraai mijn C1's ook klinken, hier heb je meer conus voor nodig.
