( inmeten roomperfect en mogelijk nog wat corrigeren in de Crowns)
Zal nog even duren voordat het optimaal speelt.

Vanmiddag een meetsessie met Roomperfect gedaan voor stereo.
X over is 80 Hz, 4 orde LiRi filter en aangepaste delays mains/subs.

Ik moet er nog een keer met REW overheen en de speakers zijn uiteraard nog niet ingespeeld, al schijnt dat met deze wel mee te vallen qua tijd,.................
maar het klinkt nu reeds zeer zeer goed. :headbanging:

Enorm relaxed en transparant. Geen grenzen , altijd coherent, en een sublieme match met de JTR subs.
Muzikaal jawel, pace en rythm volop.
Dit zijn mijn droomspeakers, zo lijkt het. :inlove:

Even eenvoudig met wat testtoontjes bepaald dat de mij bekende 53 Hz mode niet helemaal door Roomperfect gladgestreken is.
Ik had nog wat presets in de Crowns varierend van - 10 tot - 3 dB op dat punt.
Op gehoor doet de - 3 het nu het best.

Alweer wat beter.  :P

Weer wat draaien.
"The waking" Kurt Elling kippenvel en tranen in mijn ogen. Wat ontzettend goed klinkt dit (al is het laag nog wel middels REW en subamps EQ te verbeteren).
Ella and Louis "Isn't this a lovely day ?"  : wat een vocalen en de trompet van Armstrong klinkt waanzinnig.

Kanttekening , deze speakers vervormen niet merkbaar en ik speel ongemerkt best hard dus oppassen met de oren. :police:

Nog met de dsp vd Crown bezig geweest,of alleen genieten van je nieuwe set.
Klinkt verslavend goed. Pakkend en meeslepend zonder opsmuk.
Ik heb wel vaker mooie upgrades gedaan maar dit is de grootste. :thumbs-up:  ;)

Nog niet.
Ik wil eerste alles aangesloten hebben. En dan zijn er nog wat kleine zaken zoals rotatie van de hoorns.
Die staan standaard op 60 graden horizontaal, 40 vertikaal in staande positie van de Noesis.
Bij de center en surrounds ga ik dit veranderen.
Center omdat deze horizontaal geplaatst is en dan breder afstraalt, surrounds omdat deze dan wat lager afstralen..
Dan er één meetsessie van maken ipv telkens de spullen tevoorschijn halen.

Zoals het nu reeds speelt heb ik de tijd. 8) :music:

Ben ook misschien aan het overwegen naar deze set, ik heb alleen de S1 sub van JTR en dat ding klinkt echt waanzinnig, ik ben benieuwd hoemdie zou integreren bij de noasis. Ik draai zelf met de fronts Tannoy D900 met extra supertweeters en de D750 center ik ben erg benieuwd of de jtr gedetailleerder is of dat deze alleen maar harder kan? In ieder geval succes ermee.

De Noesis is ontwikkeld op de JTR subs en dat merk je.
Het is geen full range speaker om te beginnen, waar alle andere combinaties dat wel zijn.
Bij drivers en crossover wordt er door Jeff al op geselecteerd en ontworpen.

En de gevoeligheid/dynamiek matcht.

Nu zijn de Tannoys wat ik er van weet ook dynamisch en gevoelig, dus jouw match zal buiten evt Noesis ook erg goed kunnen zijn.

Detail is juist één van de sterke kanten. Het uiterlijk zet op het verkeerde been.
Klinkt totaal niet woest maar juist extreem rustig gekoppeld aan die enorme dynamiek.
Op het door mij al eerder genoemde "Isn't this a lovely day" zijn de vocalen bedwelmend zoet, maar waar de trompet van Armstrong inzet
knalt het uit de speakers. :blink:
