Vandaag was het tijd voor klein onderhoud van de set.

Een nieuwe ADSY meting , dit na een firmware update en factory reset van de Marantz 7702Mk2.
De vorige meting dateerde van direct nadat de Marantz was aangesloten en verliep wat rommelig oa ivm een ontbrekend krukje voor de microfoonstandaard.
Het krukje werd gebruikt voor metingen 4,5 en 6 dus pal voor de luisterposities.
Ik heb toen een grotere kruk gebruikt met een wat dik maar wel stevig zitkussen op deze kruk.

Na een ingeving vandaag  ;D heb ik simpel de micstand omgedraaid en met een boek op de bank ondersteund.
Ook werd het meetoppervlak zo wat compacter.

Het resultaat is naar wens , HT met ADSY op flat klinkt weer beter. 8)


Er speelt nu wel dat ik wederom overweeg de set behoorlijk in te dikken.
Arcams AVR-850 zou hierin een rol kunnen spelen.
Eerst wil ik echter meer weten over diens functies en mogelijkheden en de manual is zeer summier. :hmmm:

Klopt.
Dat kan een gevolg zijn van het bewuste krukje of de wat kleinere meetspreiding.
Mogelijk beide.

Voor stereo is de Linn op de Lyngdorf nog wel duidelijk prettiger.
Daar heb ik middels DSP bij 870 , 460 en 125 Hz pieken kunnen vlakken en dat zou zomaar het verschil kunnen maken.
XT32 biedt die mogelijkheden niet.
HT lijk er niet onder te lijden , maar ook daar jeuken mijn handen om deze gebieden eens te 'behandelen'.  :D


Een Denon AVR-X7200WA Cinemike is mij door Vik onder aandacht gebracht en ik vind de gedachte om bij D&M te blijven wel aantrekkelijk,
maar dan zit ik weer vast aan XT32.

En daarbij gebruik je dan XT32/Audyssey niet meer als je handmatig in gaat stellen.

Die Arcam lijkt mij geen verkeerd apparaat maar als iets niet waardevast is is het wel een dure AV versterker waardoor je investering heel snel zal verdampen, heb je ook de optie met een MiniDSP 88A / Dirac Live bekeken?
Vraag mij ook af hoeveel vrijheid je hebt met de geïmplementeerde Dirac in de Arcam.

Vraag mij ook af hoeveel vrijheid je hebt met de geïmplementeerde Dirac in de Arcam.
Het is Full Dirac en ik ben redelijk klaar met extra kastjes.

Zolang het ding heel blijft ben ik onder de pannen , dus niet meer in de markt voor iets anders.
Hobby is kijken en luisteren.
En dat zal echt op hoog niveau blijven met deze AVR. :)

De Marantz gaat dan ook weg.
Niet vanwege de prestaties, maar ik ga nu echt compacter.

Nee.
Ik ken Arcam qua geluid, aansluiten hier ter test is mij teveel gedoe , de JTRs pikken bijna alles  :headbanging: en Dirac is een voorwaarde.
Dan is het deze of Emotiva. :D

Daar heb je gelijk in en ook als die niet zo goed is heb je altijd nog dirac die poetst alles wel weg. Maar ongezien zonder vergelijk zomaar arcam kopen voor veel geld.......  Tsja zou niet de weg zijn die ik zou kiezen.
