Klimax is verkocht, maar toch is het beter. Al doe ik elke dag mijn best  :devil:, nu pas ingespeeld. :hehe:

Serieus.
HT is beter en stereo kon ik sinds het bezoek van Abel nog eea in de interne DSP van Linn verbeteren.
Voedingen op de switches zijn nu lineair en de plafondspeakers verbeteren ook stereo (akoestiek).

Erg leuk dat Hans komt en evenzeer benieuwd. :)

Er valt eigenlijk niet heel veel meer over te zeggen. Beetje de loftrompet blazen is leuk maar goed.

Voor iedereen die zegt dat in een kleine ruimte geen grote speakers kunnen: Ga naar Staaled. Treffend verwoord. :)

Toen je vroeg of/wanneer ik het gevoel had dat de set stond ( mijn antwoord was: "met de komst van de JTR speakers") waren dat de
eigenschappen die beter konden.
Al was driemaal DSP geen doel op zich. ;) :D

De wens was om zowel aan de vallende speld als het rotsblok recht te doen én lekker muziek weer te geven.
Vervuld en ik ben daarmee een blije gebruiker. :thumbs-up:

Ter info.

Stereo speel ik met een Linn Akurate DS/1.
Deze heeft Linns Room optimisation en na een meting demp ik drie gebieden :
120, 350 en 850 Hz. Allen rond de -4 dB.

De Linn gaat analoog naar de Lyngdorf TDAi2200 met Roomperfect.
RP is actief en vervolgens versterkt de Lyngdorf de fronts en doet de crossover naar de subs @ 80 Hz ( 4e orde LiRi).

De subwooferversterkers hebben DSP aan boord waarmee ik hetgeen Roomperfect laat liggen handmatig ( na meting ) nog corrigeer.

Stereo telt zo dus 3 DSP secties.

Ik zou het best terug willen brengen tot 1 apparaat, maar daar zijn de opties schaars en kostbaar.


Het plan was om stereo via de processor te laten verlopen, maar daar heb ik toch maar van afgezien.
Eerste klinkt zonder meer goed.
De stereoketen is echter toch weer een stap beter. :music:

Met de tijd eens de Powersoft K3 ipv de Crowns inlussen.
Ik kan mij daar kennelijk nooit zo druk om maken of in haasten.
Het speelt prima, ik ben er blij mee en realiseer mij dagelijjks wat een groot goed dat is. :)

Hij zal een goede indruk van de potentie hebben gekregen. ;)

Voor mijzelf sprekend verrast het nog steeds hoe makkelijk het speelt.
De laatste paar keren dat ik andere systemen heb gehoord , was niet bij forumleden , klonk het in mijn oren
of audiofiel of versmeerd of futloos of alledrie en had ik nooit de neiging om eens op te schroeven.

Op alle slakken zout leggen , zonder echt door te bijten. :D

Maw je hoort heel of zelfs te veel, maar het heeft niet het vermogen om geluid echt neer te zetten, tastbaar/fysiek te laten zijn.
Dat is een kwestie én dynamiek én ruimtelijkheid/omvang/schaal én puur vermogen.

De sets die ik heb gehoord en dan de top drie daarvan zijn allemaal sets waarin gebruik gemaakt wordt van dsp (en meerdere subs) en aanpassingen aan de akoestiek.

Inmiddels ben ik van mening dat een set alleen ook maar op bovenstaande wijze (dus gebruik DSP, meerdere subs, aanpassingen aan de akoestiek) echt goed gaat en kan klinken.
