De grote " overhaul" een begin is gemaakt dwz de locaties van de boards.
Hier zie je de ebben steunnen waar het digitale board op gaat rusten.

Eerst even alles mbv papier aftekenen.

Tevens wordt er weer driftig gesoldeerd om ruimte te maken voor de vele shunts...

Vandaag een rustdag ...dat betekend electronica kopen.... ;D

...het staat in een mooie "stereo-werkkkast" ....waar ik erg vaak sta om cd's schoon te maken/demagnetiseren etc etc. ;)

Ook al is apparatuur nog zo mooi meer dan 2 of 3 componenten in een woonkamer heb ik nog nooit mooi gevonden...
Buiten de looks brengt de constructie mij ongelooflijk mooie extra's dus ik klaag sowieso niet.... ;D

Vandaag hebben we enorm veel werk verzet...

Een chirurgische ingreep ophet analogeboard, hij moest in tweeen gezaagd worden  :-X omdat we de trafo's en de buis een eigen platform wilde geven, evenals wat andere mods.

Hier een close-up wat Anton aan het doen is.....geen print maar hardwire met een zo een kort mogelijke signaal weg van zilver/goud.
Ik heb me verwend en heb de mooiste buisvoetjes gekocht welke bestaan...de Yamamoto...uit een blok teflon met phosfore bronze pennen... 8)
Dat verdient ook het beste en dat krijgt hij......een eigen ebben platform van mij met de hardwiring van Anton.... ;D

Ook de uitgangscondensatoren mooie koperfolies van Audionote 0.47 uF krijgen een eigen platform.....al met al krijg je een aparte lay-out in de DAC-6 Matriarch  >:D
(Waar je het witte papier ziet liggen komt het platform met de buisvoet voor het signaal de E182CC van Mullard.)

Vandaag behoorlijk doorgewerkt (het is mijn laatste vakantieweekje alweer  :( ;D)

Veel draadendjes M3 gemaakt voor het buisplatformpje en M5 gemaakt voor de uitgangscondensators.

Daarnaast de WBT's geinstalleerd ...the hardway...dus eigenlijk precies zoals het moet met de fixeer-ring en dan maar gelijk een maskertje van ebben....kortom...a dayjob again....in 3 mm koper vergt wat extra tijd... :-X  >:D

Draad tappen voor het maskertje......mocht je dat zelf ook willen maken dan vandaar uit bijna (als laatste de maskergaten vergroten zodat ze over de collar vallen) alles boren anders kom je nooit meer centraal uit...!!!

WBT op zijn plek en maskertje erop (de Digitale WBT komt later als de boardhoogte is bepaald...tja als zelfbouwer heb je die luxe... 8)...)

Deze analoge WBTs liggen nu ook precies in lijn met de uitgangscondensatoren....waarbij nu enkel een stukje gouddraad van 1-2 cm het nieuwe signaaldraadje wordt... ;)

Slechts een "kleine greep" uit de aangekochte electronica van de laatste tijd.
Hier zie je verschillende merken regulators evenals wat condensatortjes etc. welke gisteren nodig waren bij het uitzoekwerk.

We hebben ons gisteren druk gemaakt om het bouwen van 2 gelijkrichting-printjes met diodes en het (alles zo optimaal mogelijk!!) plaatsen van een viertal shuntvoedingen ( 2maal -5V en 2maal +5V).
De 4 shuntvoedingen zijn bestemd voor de 2 PCM63P-K dacs.
Dit betekende veel gaatjes overal in boren en miniatuur hoekprofieltjes bouwen...kortom modelbouwstyle... ;D

Hierbij een trots close-uppie...oja alles wordt natuurlijk zo mooi mogelijk aan elkaar "gematched"..
Op het linker gelijkricht-printje linksonder zie je een klein messing hoekprofiel met nylon schroefje aan de print gekoppeld... ;)

...en de 2 dubbeldekkers..de Shunts van PvW...elke shuntprint specifiek opgebouwd voor zijn functie en met veel denkwerk en moeite nu een exacte lokatie gegeven met minimale bedrading zodat hij optimaal de dac kan gaan voorzien.

Vandaag me even druk gemaakt om weer een puntje op de I te zetten...de 2 elco's staan een beetje "losjes" op de print om deze wat steviger en "rustiger" te krijgen heb ik even een  cocobolo-ebben topje gefabriceerd...door de 2 topjes met elkaar te verbinden en de diameter voor beide elcos precies pas te maken staan ze nu ineens weer rotsvast.. ;D.
