....onder het genot van een mega BBQ (met zijn tweetjes !!!!) draai ik op repeat .."VAN THE MAN" met Astral Weeks Live at The Hollywood Bowl...nu is het niet mijn gebruik om 2 maal een cd aan te prijzen maar.....................................................KOPEN JONGENs.
Via Amazon luttele laagstaande dollars...en een sfeertje...wat kan ik zeggen...ja hier bouw ik voor (we ;D)....."Van The Man" in je huiskamer. :o

Ik ga niet zeggen dat hij voor de modificatie een stukje platter klonk ...but you know the drill.... :-X
Luister eens naar bijvoorbeeld die blokfluit begeleiding......echt zo een sound als ...uhh...Back Home  8)

Voor de statistici...hij krijgt bij The Absolute Sound  (Of Stereophile...weet ik niet meer....ik heb beide abbos ???)  5 van de 5 sterren voor uitvoering evenals klank.... ;)

Voor mij persoonlijk is het dat werkelijk onovertroffen live sfeertje.........geef mij een Live cd any day of the week.....en ja ik heb AL zijn albums dus ik weet waar ik het over heb....... ;)

Vandaag weer wat vers koper gehaald en een beginnetje gemaakt met de 2e behuizing.
Hij gaat lekker.
Tevens na veel internet ellende een Wifi verrvangen door UTP en mezelf verwend met een 22 inch scherm...kan ik sommige ellende nog groter bekijken... ;D

Weer even een ruime ochtend besteed aan ...the continueing story of..... ;D

Foto's spreken een beetje voor zichzelf ik gebruik messing hoeklijn in 2 maten en messing schroefjes dus extreem veel tapwerk en voorboren...

Tot nu toe zit alleen het front gekoppeld aan het plateau om als referentiemaat te dienen.
Ik wil graag straks weer (zoals bij de DAC-6 matriarch PowerSupply) overal een een randje koper van het plateau laten zien...dus alles moest perfect in de haak zijn.... ;)

Bak is klaar...dus spray-lakken. :)

De aansluitingen maak ik "in het werk" zodat ze zo netjes mogelijk en dichtbij de betreffende boardlocaties kunnen worden gebracht...ik ga hier nl. trekontlastingen gebruiken dit om teveel onnodige aansluitpunten/stekers te omzeilen. ;)

Ben weer net terug van winkelen...32 graden buiten....poeffff....blij dat ik weer in mijn airco woonkamer kan knutselen.... ;D

Leuke dingen aangeschaft...buiten weer de ettelijke meters zilver nu ook 1 WBT NextGen 0102 AG GR Solid Silver (een hele mond vol) voor de digitale ingang samen met de bijbehorende WBT pluggen 0110 AG GR Solid Sliver en nog een setje WBT Nextgen 0102 AG MS (staat voor metal collar) voor mijn analoge ingangen...

Ik zal ook nog even met "Glass" oftewel AT&T ST experimenteren...zodat ik zeker weet wat de meest optimale verbinding is tussen mijn DAC-6 Matriarch en de Genesis Digital Lens.

Ik zou haast zeggen als je toch bezig bent: bouw die lensprint in je DAC erbij in. Dan heb je gezien de korte verbinding geen transmissielijn (optisch dan wel elektrisch coaxiaal) meer nodig en knoop je het gewoon "direkt" aan elkaar  ;)

De beste stuurlui... :D

...ik heb met dat idee nog even gespeeld maar het board van de lens is behoorlijk groot en ik zag nog meer hindernisjes...dus neen.... ;D

Enfin mijn navelstrengen zijn klaar....heel wat werk eigenlijk nog....maar goed je hebt dan ook wat... :-X

Foto's spreken weer voor zich....ik werk met 0.5 mm en 0.8 mm zilver en soms met meerdere strengen (gloeidraadspanning.....I Know....OTT :-[ )

...en omdat ik op een informatief kabeltopic heb gelezen dat het zeer belangrijk is hoe je kabels eruitzien....heb ik mezelf verwend met een ebben naamplaatje....EVV Cucine..(had ik nog over van de keukenbouw dus  ;D).......................toch een beetje koken   ;)
