Grappig ik zit vandaag weer eens zelf " in het midden " en bemerk inderdaad dat de strakke " sweetspot" er niet meer is  :D
Dit moet een direct gevolg zijn van mijn tube gelijkrichtactiviteiten.....

Ik bemerkte wel dat mijn pinpointing wat was afgenomen maar in het geheel genomen was dit een kleine inlevering tegen veel grotere muzikale pluspunten.

Wel leuk dat hij dat juist als een voordeel ervaarde.... ;)

Minder grappig..een kleine tegenslag of moet ik zeggen "terugslag"....

Door "vermoedelijk" een kapotte buis in de OTL kreeg de C2-95-T6 het even zwaar... ;D

Ik ben al druk met Joachim Kopp aan het mailen van Thiel en Partners.

Schade alleen beperkt gebleven aan deze luidsprekerunit? Of hebben er meer een opdonder gehad.

Gelukkig een prima service bij Thiel & Partners en ze gaan mij een gematched paartje sturen de C180-6-192.
Het is het nieuwste model en qua steekmaten exact dezelfde als de C2-95-T6.

Het leuke is dat je het nieuwe modelnummer niet in hun programma zult vinden...het is "op maat"  8)

Deze nieuwe unit behoeft geen filteranpassingen en heeft een extra lange excursie mogelijkheid.
De reactie van Joachim Kopp was dat de cone van deze nieuwe unit een stuk moeilijker te breken is.... :-X.... ;D

Beste Erik,

Als ik het me goed herinner was je filter custom gemaakt door een expert? Ik mag toch aannemen dat deze expert de units zelf heeft nagemeten en niet de parameters van de datasheet van Thiel heeft overgenomen? Ongetwijfeld is de kwaliteitscontrole en consistentie van Thiel top-of-the-bill maar ik zou daar zelf nooit blind op vertrouwen. De units die je nu krijgt hebben die exact dezelfde parameters gekregen als de gemeten units die jij nu gebruikt?

de vorige waren toch ook op maat?

Geef wel goed de buitendiameter op, maar daar schijnt nog wel eens een milimeter of 2 in te zitten (aldus mijn speakerkastbouwer)

Yepp dat waren de 4 nieuwe woofers...was wederom een prima service ...een frame van de C-220 met de unit van de C-222  8)

Als je speakerbouwer de steekmaten goed doorgeeft ( bij Thiel zelf !!) krijgt hij exact dezelfde  ;)
Deutsche Grundlichkeit merk je meteen op uit hun vraagstelling  :)

Paypal gaf wat mindere service...ahum.

Betaling ging verkeerd maar of het zo had moeten wezen....op het laatste moment toch gekozen voor de E versie.
Deze versie heeft de beroemde "oortjes".....paar tientjes duurder so what.

De tweede betaling vanochtend gedaan en ze zijn minuten later verstuurd dus deze week binnen  8)

yepp ik kom net terug van de "bouwer" van Aitos... ;D

Ik heb meteen de originele ..ondertussen NOS ;D instelpots bij hem gekocht om de oude te vervangen.....leuk klusje ben toch met vakantie. 8)
