Hier een foto van de "correctie"....
de eerste top heeft de loodplaat en de tweede top heeft zijn corrigerende MDF-laag.

Ach het geheel zal het design wel ten goede komen...de verhouding wordt wel weer ietsje beter
en de achterwand krijgt weer wat meer massa.......... ;)

Je hebt er ook meteen maar een jas en horlogebandje van gestikt, zo te zien aan het motief op de foto  ;D

Is het leer van de Stradivarius Hommage eigenlijk het zelfde als dat van de lagere Sonus Faber series?
Het leer van mijn concertino's is ook alleraardigst  ;)

Vandaag verliep alles prima ...het zat weer in een keer goed allemaal...........

De xXx-Top is klaar voor de onderfineer....as if nothing happened....

Morgen ga ik het onderfineer halen..... 8)

Grappig Frank Serblin vertelde aan een groep audio-journalisten (waaronder Absolute Sound) dat hij voor al zijn speakers hetzelfde synthetisch leer gebruikt (skai dus  ;D)
omdat echt leer op de lange duur verslechterd  ???...ook de diffractie van zijn "speciaal laten maken" kunstof is beter...

Misschien is Italiaans een moeilijke taal want......

Je moet eens weten hoeveel discussies hierover gaande zijn op de sites....wel of geen  "Cuoieria d'Italia"   ::)

Vandaag gewerkt aan een fineerpers...de foto's spreken een beetje voor zich.

Ik kwam op het idee om een "stempeltje" uit de bouw om te bouwen.

Zo kun je lekker veel kracht zetten ....dus eerst een blok op het plafond gemaakt....toen een begeleiding halverwege...zodat de zaak waterpas blijft en gecentreerd en als laatste een flink blok hout  met een behoorlijke manchet erop verlijmd waar de buis ingeklemd zit.

Als je nu draait aan de blauwe manchet zet het geheel zich steeds schrapper tegen de massieve borgpen.

Extra probleempje was wel dat de zaak weer natuurlijk makkelijk moest kunnen worden gedemonteerd.

Ik moet hem wel even op maat maken met een haakse slijper.....maar dat is alleen maar leuk.... 8)

Ik heb het plafond ook zelf gebouwd..... dus dat was een makkie om de steunbalken te vinden ;D

weer mooi bedacht, maar hoe ga je dat nu persen op niet parallele vlakken en facetten?
voor een aantal werkzaamheden had ik de afval driehoeken bewaard van het zagen van rechthoekig naar trapezium ( top en midden ).
de facetten is een ander verhaal , dit is weggefreesd en dus geen bruikbare
afvalstukken.
Mark (Levinson)  , Nelson (Pass)  , Neil (Pattel) , Rondi dÁgustino  (Krell)  en Herr Willi ( Studer, Revox)  spelen samen in een speciale ruimte. allemaal ouwe meuk...maar klinkt o zo lekker...
Frits (Philips) mag de huiskamer voorzien van dagelijks  radio geluid.

Ik maak in ieder geval kleine bokjes van 8 en 10 graden
zodat de xXx-kop, mid en sub weer vlak kunnen liggen.

Ik peins nog een beetje over de facetten...maar daar kom ik (denk ik) wel uit  "in het werk "

je kunt ook het gedeelte waar het waterpas opligt verdraaibaar maken en een antiwegschuif latje op de werkbank schroeven. :-\

Het Phenolic Backing Board is uitgerold en de eerste stukken kunnen worden gesneden en gezaagd.

Wat is dat spul bere hard en sterk ....en dat voor zo een geringe dikte (fineerdikte).

De pers doet zijn werk..het eerste fineerplaatje zit erop.....maar vergt toch veel instelling en controle  :'(

De temperatuur is plm. 20 graden en de luchtvochtigheid zo een 45 procent.
Zowel de te verlijmen fineer en de "drager" zijn ge-acclimatiseerd.

Ik gebruik witte houtlijm koud geperst PVAc....1 laag opbrengen met een kwast (pas op kwast mag niet verharen) en daarna verdelen met een schuimrollertje.


....is de pers eenmaal aangedraaid dan is alles okay.... 8)...dat is met geen lijmtang te evenaren..... ;)
