The Dark Knight out on Blu-ray from December 8th

Batman fans prepare – The Dark Knight is out on Blu-ray on December 8th. The single Blu-ray disc will cost £26.99, but Warner Home Video will also release a Blu-ray double pack with Batman Begins for £39.99, and a four-disc DVD set for £29.99. The two-disc special edition DVD will cost £22.99.

The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in his continuing war on crime.

With the help of Lt. Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organised crime in Gotham for good. But their plans are thwarted by The Joker, superbly played by the late Heath Ledger.

The film was shot in part using IMAX cameras, and the Blu-ray disc takes advantage of the use of IMAX and 35mm formats by using the hybrid master to replicate thecinema experience at home. The IMAX scenes are also included on the two-disc special edition as bonus material.

Mooi.  Dit is een film die je minstens 2x moet zien.  Hij is niet altijd makkelijk te volgen / je moet er wel bijblijven.

Wat moet ik me voorstellen bij een "digital copy"? Een mp4/avi  bestand voor op je Ipod/PMP?

Maar nog wel de vraag, wat is dit precies voor formaat (codecs/grootte etc) Mijn D2 moet het toch voorgekauwd krijgen, maar als het een vage beveiligde Appel/Qt variant die je alleen kunt afspelen met drm etc, dan schiet het nog niet op.

Ik was afgelopen vrijdag bij de MM in Amserdam Bijlmer...hadden ze al zo een mooie poster van de release...ik denk ze hebben um al. Helaas de 10e pas
