Een hoop gedonder bij de installatie van een nieuw Ziggo modem mbt streamen.
Nu met de Asus terug in de keten weer als vanouds............... en zelfs een stuk beter. :thumbs-up:

Avengers Age of Ultron.
Vermakelijk beter gooi- ,sloop- en smijtwerk met een pluim voor de geluidskwaliteit.

De 7702Mk2 is verkocht en de 7703 is aangesloten en speelt nu een dag of 5.

Heos was en is geen onverdeeld succes. Streamingdiensten gaan goed maar de module icm mijn mediaservers is regelmatig haperend en traag.
Contact met Marcel ( H&C Hifi) en Marantz verliep prima en na wikken en wegen mijnerzijds gebruik ik hem voorlopig zo.

Mijn problematiek is doorgestuurd naar Marantz en er zal ongetwijfeld tzt wel een update komen.

Film is wederom een genot.
The Hateful 8 gezien en zonder iets te verklappen waren de dialogen/monologen ,  het blijft Tarentino  ;), pakkend en het vuurwerk huiveringwekkend. :)

Game of Thrones seizoen 6.

Atmos uiteraard en de intensiteit van met name aflevering 9 was huiveringwekkend.
Eigenlijk helemaal niet leuk meer, al is dat de bedoeling.

Een avondwandelingetje bracht weer wat verkoeling. :)

Nog wat aan de tweak geweest, waarbij de 'auto' setting op de 7703 de beste allround weergave in mijn situatie brengt.
XT 32 staat op flat en sublevel tov de ADSY meting + 6dB.

Hoewel het nu reeds goed klinkt, kan de positie van de linkersubwoofer volgens REW Roomsim beter.
Voor mijn ruimte zijn de Roomsim voorspellingen tot op heden accuraat gebleken.

Echter op de gewenste positie staat nu een eettafel danig in de weg.
Iig voor een Captivator. :D

Ik ga er wel vanuit.
Er is/zijn daar betere extensie en spreiding ,minder pieken en geen enkele null.
Minder correctie derhalve en zeer waarschijnlijk nog meer headroom.

Dat is best een verschil inderdaad. Ik zou me er misschien bij neerleggen omdat de huidige situatie met correctie best goed op te lossen is.


Wel handig dat jij de simulatie goed kan toepassen. De vorm van mijn kamer is te ingewikkeld voor zinvolle simulatie. Heb mijn subs al op 10 verschillende plekken gehad :)

Ik heb gisteren nog wat gemeten en zie geen grote narigheid.

Dipje rond 80 ( gevolg van de opstelling) en voor de rest gewoon goed.

Het is idd wel een gedoe , kabel(s) &  eettafel en wat er nog onverwachts opduikt.

Eettafel gaat sowieso door en wie weet ............ :D

Ter volledigheid.

De subs lopen via een AntiMode DC 2.0 ( dus tussen Marantz en Powersofts).
Zo heb ik invloed op de respons ,itt enkel ADSY

Ook is in de DC een highpass filter actief om de subs , tune 20 Hz, tegen onnodige uitslag te beschermen.
Kapot zullen ze niet gaan , maar wat je hoort is dan niet zoals het hoort. ;)

De afgelopen tijd is er met de komst van de 7703 weer eea veranderd in de set.
Dus even een resumé.

HT is, hoewel de 7703 zo lijkt het niet anders klinkt  :hehe: , beter dan ooit.
Ik zoek de oorzaak oa in een betere ADSY meting omdat de fronts en center luider stonden dan toegestaan.
De amps presteren beter bij een hogere gain , zo valt ook terug te lezen in de Powersoft literatuur.

Ook kan ADSY de crossovers nu op 80 instellen (omdat er simpelweg meer output voorhanden was bij de fronts als gevolg van de hogere versterking ? ).
Iig is 80 in het verleden al optimaal gebleken.

De subs naar 20 Hz tune zetten blijkt ook beter.
Druk en dynamiek is overweldigend.

Stereo is qua weergave ook al zo goed.
Ik heb niet het idee dat ik iets heb ingeleverd tov de vorige setup.
Wat anders maar zeker niet minder. :music:
De bediening is nog steeds niet best.
Heos in de Marantz werkt via Wifi bediening in de praktijk amper.
Ook zijn er nog steeds dropouts in het geluid.
Er was al een firmware update , maar zonder definitieve oplossingen dus.

Ik zal wederom contact met Marantz opnemen hierover.

Zijn er nog punten voor kritiek ?
Jazeker.

1 Midbass mag nog wat heftiger.

2 Middengebied kan bij sommige opnames of soundtracks wat dichtlopen.

3 Heos.

De midbass en het middengebied lijkt een akoestiekding.
ADSY app zou de midbass wat kunnen oppeppen en vwb 1 en 2 moet ik ook nog een paneel installeren , rechtsvoor.

3 lijkt nu wel beter middels een netwerkreset op de 7703 , maar is nog lang niet op het niveau dat ik ken van Linn.
