Mogelijk lijkt het trouwens allemaal wat aansteller- of dikdoenerij   :lookaround: maar het opmerkelijke (voor mij iig) is dat het echte blazen mooi meegenomen ( met mate anders kost het je de oren) is terwijl juist dynamiek zo verslingerend blijkt.

Hoi Jan,

ik tot voor kort ook niet en stuitte er dan ook op via Josh Ricci's Data-bass.
Het heeft een zeer goede naam in PA en pro toepassingen.
Niveau Lab Gruppen en Crown.

Voor mijn speakers en subs is het geen probleem om dergelijke vermogens te ontvangen.
Dus dat geeft de mogelijkheid om dit spul te gaan gebruiken.

Ik bericht uiteraard hier over ervaringen.

Ik moest even snel zijn mbt de K3 aangezien er een order naar Italie uitging.
Anders zou het wel even kunnen duren.

De K3 is krachtig genoeg voor 2 subs op 8 Ohm , namelijk 1400 W per kanaal.
Vervolgens kunnen de subs nog in 2 Ohm gezet worden en dan kan ie tot 2800 gaan.

Het is 1 kast ipv M20D in bridge (wat dus 2 zou betekenen) tegen min of meer dezelfde output. 1 minder dus. :thumbs-up:

Vervolgens kan ik
1 middels fronts op large alle bass en LFE naar de Lyngdorf laten lopen. Die stuurt de hele bups dan naar de K3.
2 er komt een MiniDSP 10x10 HD waar zowel de Lyngdorf als de aanstaande Marantz respectievelijk bass en bass+LFE naar routen om vervolgens naar de K3 te gaan.

Moet ik (weer eens) gaan vegen is de 10x10 dus zeker.

Dus donderdag of na de kerst verwacht ik ze.

De Lyngdorf geeft idd een crossover.
Dus alles boven de 80 naar de fronts , 4 orde LiRi, en daaronder naar de eindversterker(s) voor de subs. Analoog.
Tussen de Lyngdorf en die eindversterker komt er nog enige vorm van DSP, Anti mode Dual Core of 10x10 HD.
De laatste heeft als voordeel dat je nog meer zelf kunt instellen.
Er is dus een A/D en D/A omzetting tussen Lyngdorf en eindversterker(s).
Naar mijn ervaring merk je daar in dat bereik helemaal niets van en wegen de voordelen dus verre op
tegen de nadelen.

En dan geen correctie door de Lyngdorf op het mid en hoog? Of gooi je de correctie van 20-tot 20 eroverheen? Je kan ook nog de subs inregelen met de minidsp, daarna uitschakelen vóór de RC functie, zodat hij alleen de fronts inregelt met als risico dat hij het laag van de fronts gaat proberen te pushen?
Of ga je ervan uit dat de Lyngdorf geen correcties uitvoert op de lowpass omdat die al in orde is?

Heb je nog wel overwogen om de digital out van de Lyngdorf te proberen? Ik weet dat technisch en ook gehoormatig gezien er geen reden is om een extra ADC/DAC te voorkomen, maar idealiter doe je dit toch wel..

Eerst Roomperfect voor de fronts en subs (20-20 idd) en vervolgens handmatig de subs bijregelen.
Zo loopt het momenteel hier ook met DSP in de Crown versterkers.

En omdat ik met Linn DS speel kan ik ook de fronts bijregelen.
Ik doe dat in 3 gebieden : 120, 350 en 860 Hz.

Roomperfect, en ik verval in herhaling  ;), is dat dus zeker niet.

Mijn TDAi2200 RP heeft overigens enkel analoog uit.

Het is nog vreemder.
Indien ik , alles gladgestreken en handmatig gecorrigreerd, er nog een Focus tegenaan gooi verklooit RP dit weer. :sigh:

Omdat het niet Perfect is, wil ook experimenteren met dergelijke configuraties. Ik lees nu dat je eerst de Lyngdorf DSP aanzet en dan handmatig corrigeert. Heb je het weleens andersom geprobeerd en hoe pakt dat uit?

Dus: subs inregelen met de minidsp, daarna de subs uitzetten. Dan de Lyngdorf correctie op alleen de  gehighpasste fronts (met als risico dat hij het laag van de fronts gaat proberen te pushen). Zo kan hij het laag niet verknoeien.

RP corrigeert ook in highpass nog steeds de fronts onder de 80 Hz en ondanks de afval (van highpass) zie je dat terug in de totale respons.

Enkel dus met een extra Focus meting op de MLP en die uitkomst verzekert mij dat de omgekeerde weg zinloos en enkel extra werk is.
