Unraid server wat herschikt en de kleinere schijven verwijderd en nu 1 ipv 2 pariteitsschijven en 90TB beschikbaar met zes 18TB WD HC550 schijven. Volgende werk ga ik gewoon eens opnieuw beginnen want veel rommel van docker containers en plugins die ik niet meer gebruik, en er zit ergens iets tussen die de web interface een stuk vertraagd.

De andere server had ik wat vodden mee want de ZFS cache pool was stuk en alles geprobeerd om die te herstellen maar helaas niet gelukt. Wel een backup van Nextcloud van twee dagen ervoor dus niet zo erg om de cache pool opnieuw te maken en de backup terug te zetten.

Heb op die server ook meteen versie 7.3.0 beta2 geïnstalleerd en de boot en licentie (via TPM) op de NVMe mirrored cache pool geplaatst. Er zijn ook nog wel wat andere verbeteringen in deze versie zoals kunnen zien of je er geen issues zijn met de ZFS pools en nog wat andere kleinere zaken.

Dus dan blijkt dat de re-certified schijven toch al dik 18000 uren gedraaid hebben (Smart zegt 162 uur, dat is sinds ik ze gekocht heb) dus wel ongeveer 2 jaar 24/7

Dus re-certified is gereviseerd ?
In dit geval dus een nieuwe spindle(motor) en leeskoppen ?

Of heeft de harddisk 2 jaar aan spanning gehangen en niet 'gedraaid'.

Ik denk dat ze hem hebben getest en goed bevonden, daarna de smart data gereset.
De Seagate FARM data kan je denk ik niet zo makkelijk resetten.
Ik denk dat ze gewoon 2 jaar gebruikt zijn ergens daarna getest en goed bevonden door Seagate en opnieuw verkocht als recertified. Ik denk niet dat ze ze gereviseerd hebben, maar dat zou wel kunnen.

Ik zie ook power on/off op 122 staan ipv de 20 uit de smart

450 a 500 voor nieuwe Seagate EXOS X18 18TB was het in december.

Deze waren eerst 280 en werd daarna 300 ivm de leverschaarste ook toen al. Dus 300 per stuk heb ik betaald.
