Pinnacle Systems, Inc. has reported the immediate availability of CineWave 2.1. This new version of Pinnacle Systems' award-winning editing and compositing solution adds uncompressed real-time power to the robust new Three-Way Color Correction capability of Apple's Final Cut Pro 3, as well as real-time Chroma Keying with spill suppression and color correction filters. In addition, Pinnacle Systems will bring all these exciting new features to Mac OS X in a future free upgrade to CineWave.

CineWave 2.1 delivers powerful new features with real-time support for all of the following: color correction including the Final Cut Pro 3 Three-way Color Corrector, Color Corrector, Desaturate Highlights, Desaturate Lows, RGB Balance, and the native Final Cut Pro Chroma Keyer. CineWave 2.1 also introduces a new CineWave Chroma Keyer with spill suppression that is fully supported in real-time.

CineWave 2.1 is a free software upgrade for existing customers. Customers may now download the upgrade. Real time effects require the CineWave RT software upgrade.
