Mayday - error99 bij maken foto

Ik krijg opeens alleen maar error99 als ik foto's wil maken. Of ik nu het ene geheugenkaartje gebruik, of een ander. Of ik nu met één batterij schiet of met 2. Of ik nu met flitser erop schiet of zonder: ik krijg atm alleen maar err99 in mijn scherm. En laat dat nu net een erg algemene foutmelding zijn.
Iemand een idee wat er aan de hand kan zijn?

Constatering: hij geeft de foutmelding wel op M, maar op AV en TV doet die het wel gewoon.

Is een bekende foutmelding bij de 30D/40D - wil eigenlijk zeggen dat er een elektrische storing is, alleen onduidelijk welke.

Canon heeft volgend lijstje samengesteld die je moet uitproberen om te weten vanwaar error 99 komt:

"To isolate the cause of the issue, we suggest that you do the following:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Remove the lens, battery, and CF card.
3. Allow the camera to sit without power for approximately 20 minutes.
4. Insert a fully charged battery, and turn on the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.

Does the "ERR 99″ message appear? If it does, then the camera should be
serviced. If it does not, then please proceed to the next set of steps:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Insert the CF card.
3. Turn on the camera.
4. Format the CF card in the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.

Does the "ERR 99″ message appear? If so, then the CF card is the most
likely source of the issue. Try using a different card.

If the message does not appear, please complete the following steps:

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Clean the lens contacts by gently rubbing them with a pencil eraser
or soft cloth. Be careful that you do not let any debris fall into the
camera body.
3. Reattach your lens.
4. Turn on the camera.
5. Depress the shutter button as you would to take a picture.

If the "ERR 99″ message only appears when one particular lens is
attached, then that lens should be examined by a service technician.

If you see the "ERR 99″ with a different Canon lens attached, then the
camera should be serviced. "

Dat is wel erg vreemd, zou eigenlijk verwachten bij de programma's waar de metering en autofocus gebruikt wordt eerder een foutmelding zou moeten leveren ipv . full manual...

En als je een andere lens gebruikt ?

Andere lens ga ik zo proberen.
Vreemd genoeg merkte ik de laatste tijd al op dat die wat moeite had met focussen. En nu wil die helemaal niet meer focussen... Niet in lowlight, en niet in een keuken verlicht met 22000watt halogeenlampjes.
Damn, ik ben even aan het balen. Morgen Perfectionist zijn checklist aflopen. Nu eerst mijn 70-200 erop schroeven.

Het moet in de lens zitten denk ik.
Die wil dus niet meer focussen, en niet meer fotograferen op M.
Schroef mijn 70-200 erop, en geen centje pijn. Instant focus, en instant foto's.
Morgen uitgebreider testen. Maar eerst slapen. Moet om 0745 op mijn eerste adres zijn, en moet nog in een andere stad de auto halen

Wellicht de lenscontacten (op de lens zelf) reinigen....sterkte....

Baal wel nogal. Heb dinsdag voor het eerst in weeeeeken weer les. En dan met een kapotte combi naar school moeten.
En als ik een nieuwe lens moet kopen: de lens die ik wil is dik 1200 euro
