PlayStation 3 Going on a Diet?

Yes...this does in fact look like a PlayStation 3 and, yes, it does seem to look slimmer than the previous one. The rumor mill is all abuzz today with a report from consumer electronics rag T3 about a new PS3 perhaps coming this fall.

From the photo it seems pretty apparent a Blu-ray Disc drive will be part of the hardware. T3 said it had it from "a particularly well-informed insider" about this new PS3's pending arrival. There's not much more known at this point - especially since Sony not commenting on the rumor - but T3 promises to keep an eye on this and so will we.
