LG Electronics has taken the wraps off its latest plasma TV range – which includes a 60in model with 1080p native resolution.

The PF95's Full HD resolution is wrapped up in a design inspired by LG's iconic 'Chocolate' mobile phones, as is the 50-inch HD-ready PB65.

LG also showed the PC55, an HD-ready screen available in 42- and 50in incarnations, and has updated last year's 71-inch MW-71PY1M plasma screen, one of the largest plasma TVs available for consumer purchase.

Key features of the new range include:
PF95
* 1080P Full HD
* 1 x 1 pixel matching
* XD Engine Full HD Image Processor
* thin 98.5mm depth
* Touch sensitive buttons

PB65 and PC55
* HD-Ready, making it ideal for enjoying high definition programming
* Thin design, less than 89.5mm depth
* High contrast ratio of 15,000:1
* Clear Filter Pro, which replaces the traditional thick glass filter with single thin film filter, eliminating reflection and glare while improving brightness by 30%

All new 2007 models above bar the 71in model also include:
* LG SimpLink, enabling consumers to control all LG compatible equipment such as DVD recorders and home cinema systems from a single remote control
* Two HDMI connections for the convenience of a single cable to connect to HD components
