Ook hier nu eindelijk wat films op 1080I gezien..

Terminator 1 is meer een hebbeding...is maar ietsje beter dan de dvd...geluid...tja...wat kun je daar nou nog van maken...inderdaad beter dan de originele mono versie.. :-X
Bijkomstig nadeel is dat zijn scherpte vaak een negatieve invloed heeft op de echtheid van de robot...een close/up als hij zijn oog repareert...degradeert Arnie tot een etalagepop..... :o

A Knights Tale...dit komt echt los van het doek.....geluid subliem...als je van dit soort humor houdt...kopen en eenmaal per jaar draaien....

Tears Of The Sun.....dit is tot nu toe mijn TOPPER. 8)....beeld is griezelig scherp en je kunt af en toe door de jungle meelopen...kogels en junglegeluid hebben een ongekende echtheid.....dit is de schijf waar je al die moeite voor doet....mag niet ontbreken....oja...verhaal is gewoon Diehard deel uhhhh... ;D
Oja...als je van veschillende blacklevels houdt heb je meteen een puike demo...wint het van Blade..hahahhaha....

1080P krijgen we niet voor elkaar op de Barco... :-\
Kan firmware van de Panasonic zijn...kan fransman DVI/doos zijn....kan Barco instelling zijn.... ???

Ik denk dat NIEMAND een HDspeler heeft op een crt.... ^-^....let alone 1080P

Dit topic gaat over HD-releases.. niet over de 1080p problemen op een CRT ;) En er zitten veel meer toshiba's en xbox hd-dvd spelers dan BluRay spelers hier op het forum, lijkt het.

Ja je hebt gelijk maar aan de andere kant gaat het ook inhoudelijk op het BluRayFormat in...zaken zoals P of I...of 50Hz of 60 Hz.....deze specs zijn lang niet altijd even duidelijk op de Blurays....en voordat je het weet ben je over je Projector bezig......sorry als het off-topic overkomt....

Verzachtende omstandigheden zijn .....dat het lang niet even duidelijk is waar het een en ander te plaatsen... ;)

Zojuist naar de winkel gerend (kreeg gisteren avond weer een nieuwe puls  :P)
en Total Recall gekocht.

Volgens de kritieken een prima transfer...en zelfs het rood is onder controle (speelt zich af op Mars  ;))

Trouwens wel slikken als je hem eerst voor 5 Euri gewoon haalt en nu 28 Euri neerlegd....

Deze schijf is Amerikaanse import van Lionsgate en Regio vrij....

Is er al meer bekend wanneer er DTS-HD (master) geluidssporen zullen worden geimplementeerd in HD/BR releases? En DTS en Dolby hebben het ook vaak over 7.1 uncompressed audio. Heb nog geen enkele 7.1 bron gezien noch wat over gehoord verder......

Totall Recall heeft een DTS-HD spoor ....echter de Blurayspelers wachten nog op de firmware....tot zolang zullen de spelers deze schijf uitlezen als "gewone" DTS.  ;)

er is nog geen enkele BR-speler die DTS-HD (master) ondersteund dus?
En wat betreft 7.1 discrete bronnen, zie jij die nog komen dit jaar?

Neen......Tja 7.1 ...ik hoop het wel...maar vergis je absoluut niet in de huidige PCM uncrompressed 5.1.....dat is pure Magie in je HT !!!!! 8)....wint het hands down van elke ander bestaand dvd geluidsspoor.... ;)

Dat Dolby TrueHD het wint van de huidige formaten was wel te verwachten. Zit hier echter met een mooie 7.1 setup klaar voor de toekomst maar dan moeten ze wel 7.1 discreet uit gaan brengen.

Vanavond Hitch kijken...

Gewoon een krijgertje bij de speler... zal wel een niemendalletje zijn....WEL... enorm beeld  8)  aldus de critics....als het niets is ga ik gewoon verder technisch kijken... ;D

Gisteren op de ISE stukjes van gezien op 8 meter breed. Wat leuk was was de uitleg hoe ze in real time de effecten geschoten hebben met een digitale sony camera. Dus versneld en langzaam is allemaal op de camera in te stellen.
9.1.6 setup  Marantz AV10, Genelec G4 x9 voor base layer. Genelec G3 x6  voor hoogte kanalen. Genelec hts-4 subwoofer. VPL-XW5000ES. Screen Excelence enlightor 4k scherm

Geloof het of niet maar ik vond Hitch een erg leuke film...
Okay ...je moet wel in de stemming zijn EN van die humor houden...maar in tegenstelling tot Paul mag deze Bluray in mijn (kleine) collectie blijven.....

Wel moet gezegd worden dat deze film toch nog wat werd door de 2 hoofdrolspelers.... ;)

Trouwens ook wel leuk om die knappe actrices in 1080 te zien.... :-X

Easter Eggs


Thanks to our readers, here are seven easter eggs found (so far) on 'M:I III.'


Tyler P. sent in this first one. On the supplemental disc, highlight the "Mission: Metamorphosis" feature, then push left on your remote's directional keys. An "IMF classified Data" icon should appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Select and click, and you will be taken to a short vignette with actor Dermont Mulroney playing cello for the film's score.

Next are three goodies sent in by Chris W.:

Highlight the "Moviefone: Unscripted" feature and push the right arrow button to highlight the IMF logo. Click "Enter" and it will take you to a clip of Tom Cruise and Laurence Fishburne goofing off on the set.

The next one can be found in the "Launching the Mission" submenu. Highight "Rome," then push the right arrow to activate the IMF logo again. Click "Enter," and enjoy a clip of some priest and nuns dancing on the set.

The last egg can be found by going into the "TV Spots" submenu and highlighting the "Madness" spot. Push the right arrow to once again bring up the IMF logo, Activate it, and you'll see a clip of the crew dressed up on the set during Halloween 2005.

Now, here's where it gets weird -- there are actually three more easter eggs on 'M:i:III,' but only on the Blu-ray version! So, Blu-ray fans, you get a nice little bonus your fellow HD DVD'rs don't get.

Highlight the "Play All" option in the Theatrical Trailers submenu to watch Michelle Monaghan go on a walking tour of Shanghai.

From the first option in the Deleted Scenes submenu, press "Up" on your remote's navigation keys for a clip of J.J. Abrams taking a flying lesson.

From the "Settings" option on page three of the menu press "Up" on your remote for a clip of the crew celebrating Abrams' Emmy nominations.
