Dat gaat niet lukken.
Mogelijk wel fysiek , maar het zal niet spelen.
Een NAS is ongeschikt voor USB-audio.

Wat voor soort NAS heb je dan?
En heb je dan ook nog toegang met de pc/laptop?
Of kan dat alleen omdat de vv zo slim is?

Ik zit nu op een zeer bescheiden niveau Antonio Forcione in concert te beluisteren. Machtige mooie muziek...altijd al geweest. Maar de afgelopen jaren heb ik toch iedere keer sprongen kunnen maken in de weergave hiervan. Nu moet ik zeggen dat deze sprong wel gigantisch is. Ook op zacht niveau een enorm rijk geluid..rijker dan dat ik gewend was en me gelijk afvragend: Kan het nog beter ?

Vast wel..maar wat moet daar dan voor gebeuren ? En hoe diep moet ik daar dan voor in de buidel tasten ?

Niet dat dit een optie is..maar met de hulp van verschillende mensen is er in de afgelopen jaren veel veranderd in de weergave van het geluid door mijn set: Gehakt (de meest onverklaarbare tweak die je maar kan bedenken...maar die ik niet meer zou willen/kunnen missen)...Jerry met zijn technische kennis die me ook heeft laten kennis maken met hoe speakers kunnen/moeten klinken en nu Synergy Acoustics met hun kennis van akoestiek en dit vervolgens weten te vertalen in een mooi product.

Als ik het zo lees, nauwelijks.
Akoestiek en al dat er mee samenhangt,speakerkeuze ,plaatsing ,panelen oid en evt DSP, is elementair.
Heb je ook nog een goede set wordt het al snel zeer kostbaar om nog een grote stap te maken.

Nu weet ik niet of dit al veranderd is de laatste tijd en, ook niet geheel onbelangrijk, of jij het zelf ook zo ervaart.
Ik heb trouwens ook geen idee wat de grootte van het geluidsbeeld bepaalt. Iemand daar nog gedachten over?

@Kwabber: Geen idee..dan zou je langs moeten komen om het te beluisteren. Het is mij in ieder geval nooit (negatief) opgevallen dat bepaalde stemmen body zouden missen en te klein zouden zijn.

Het totaal beeld is een heeeeeel stuk rustiger geworden, daardoor meer definitie waarneembaar. Laag is nu echt onder controle (geen onaangenaam gebonk) en dat bijna door de hele kamer heen, zelfs in de serre.

Alles zal op elkaar doorwerken..dus nogmaals ik ben een happy camper.

Ik bedoel eigenlijk dat de gehele afbeelding fraai maar klein is, IMHO.
Mijn herinnering is dat bv Radiohead een paar meter achter de luidsprekers werd geprojecteerd met af en toe een effect langs de zijkant naar voren. Qua geluid was alles wel fraai aanwezig maar de band zelf leek heel klein. Een beetje alsof je naar een live concert op tv zat te kijken ipv live aanwezig te zijn. En hiermee doel ik dus echt alleen op de grootte van de afbeelding.
De hoeveelheid van het lage midden (wat mi voor de body zorgt) is een kwestie van smaak en ook gewenning speelt hierin een enorme rol.

Ik vond het laag niet verkeerd ook al was het blijkbaar iets teveel destijds. En als jij een blije kampiaan bent is het toch goed?
Ik kom vast wel weer een keer langs om te luisteren, ik ben ook wel benieuwd naar die SA VV/DSP. Gaat alleen nog wel even duren.

Oke..dus breedte...dat kan dan opname afhankelijk zijn, want er zijn opnames en dan moet ik voor mijn gevoel om de speaker heenkijken omdat daar dan het geluid vandaan komt. Vooral bij Mari Boine, Hadouk Trio maar ook Unplugged van Korn heeft dat effect. Dead can Dance heeft het ook wel...Antonio Forcione ook.. :D
