HOUSTON, August 23, 2002 - ADV Films and Rubbersuit Pictures have set a street date of October 22, 2002 for the DVD release of The Complete Daimajin, collecting three classic 1960s Japanese monster movies - Daimajin, Wrath of Daimajin and Return of Daimajin -in a single three-disc set. Featuring ample swordfighting mayhem, and plenty of screaming citizens running terrified in the streets, Daimajin is classic Japanese monster drama at its best.

The Story: On a mountaintop in Japan rests a giant stone statue. It sits there as if observing the world around it in detached silence, a cold, unmoving guardian of the valley below. But evildoers beware, for whenever the oppressed cry to the heavens for salvation, and innocent lives are threatened by the seeds of evil, the stone champion of justice will awaken and punish those who do not believe in his power... He is the spirit of vengeance, and the wrath of God given form. He is DAIMAJIN!
