Release Date Set For Burn Up Excess: Crimes And Missed Demeanors

Second Volume Of Hilarious Police Action-Adventure To Be Available October 22, 2002

HOUSTON, August 23, 2002 - ADV Films has set a street date of October 22, 2002 for the DVD release of Burn Up Excess: Crimes And Missed Demeanors, the second volume in the zany fan-favorite police action series, featuring an all-female squad of five officers-ravishing Rio, machiavellian Maki, munitions-happy Maya, intellectual Lillica and slightly neurotic Nanvel-battling crime in Neo Tokyo.

The Story: When a famous pop star is being stalked, racy cop-for-hire Rio is ordered to protect her. But when the singer comes into possession of a mysterious DNA pen, they find a stalker is nothing compared to the pen's dangerous owner! Later, Maki remembers how she first came to meet the craziest cop on the Team. And when Maki takes a vacation, it's up to Team Warrior to solve a series of strange crimes on their own. But can they manage without their fearless leader?

Burn Up Excess: Crimes And Missed Demeanors ($29.98 SRP) is a DVD-only release including three complete episodes: "An Idol Never Sleeps!" "Rambo! Bravo! Rio Bimbo!" and "Short Vacation," with English, Spanish and Japanese audio. DVD extras include clean opening and closing animation, production sketches, Burn Up Excess trailers and, of course, the famous Jiggle Counterâ„¢.
