SYNOPSIS:

Love-torn recovering co-dependent Ruby Weaver (Marisa Tomei) has given up on finding the right man when she bumps into Sam Deed (Vincent D'Onofrio), a sweet newcomer from Dubuque, Iowa. Just as Ruby is beginning to relish her first ever "healthy" relationship, Sam begins muttering about being a time traveler from the year 2470.

With the advice of her therapist and her friend, Ruby must decide if she and Sam have a future together. Is he truly Mr. Right or simply a charming lunatic with an overactive imagination. But it's too late - she's already in love. With little time to spare, the two must discover if love can change their destiny.

"Imagine a time-traveling episode of "Sex and the City" set on somewhat grungier Manhattan turf" -Stephan Holden, The New York Times

"'Happy Accidents' is a kind of sci-fi romantic comedy... It's also a sci-fi film based on ideas and not on special effects. I can't think of another genre movie like it... There isn't a better movie at which fans of the two genres can meet." -Jeffrey M. Anderson, The San Francisco Examiner
