In this astonishing film based on a true story, a brother and a sister fall in love and become lovers.

But for Forbidden Relations - a shocking, original, and beautiful film - incest is just a beginning. Juli becomes pregnant and Gyorgy is sentenced to jail for their illegal relationship. But their love only intensifies as they stand together against the world.

Forbidden Relations is a film of searing sensuality, lusciously shot by the great cinematographer Janos Kende. An international sensation, Forbidden Relations captured the heart and imaginations of audiences everywhere, examining the timeless issue of love in the face of social constraint.

The film is presented in a gorgeous transfer from a brilliant new 35mm print. DVD features include chapterization, a video interview with writer/director Zsolt Kezdi-Kovacs, and a production still gallery.
