Tenminste wel onder android.

Ga hiervoor eerst naar de officiële website van HBO Max. Door op je profielicoon te klikken (wat vaak links of rechts bovenin in de hoek staat) kun je vaste ondertiteling selecteren om de weergave van de ondertiteling aan te passen. Hier kun je naast het lettertype ook de kleur, de grootte en de doorzichtigheid van de vaste ondertiteling aanpassen.

Wanneer je HBO opstart heb je aan de linkerzijde het menu/balk (pijltje naar links drukken) daarna met het pijltje naar beneden scrollen naar 'instellingen' op 'ok' drukken en dan zie je boven in beeld verschillende instel opties verschijnen waaronder 'Vaste ondertitels'
Daar kan je na gelang van alles en nog wat de subs customizen....kleur,grote,transparantheid...,enz

Als je een shield (android) gebruikt moet je even de laatste firmware updaten, want met de oude werkt het niet.

En gebruik een Chromecast ultra.

In het geval van Netflix én 4K én Atmos. Kennelijk er gaat wat fout bij HBO.

Ook eind maart nog snel een abo genomen op deze nieuwe service. en de korting meegepakt.
(of topic: had even gewacht, was druk met Viaplay testen via een testaccount, ook leuke series naast de sport)
Bevalt prima, best wel redelijke keuze, en natuurlijk straks snel de nieuwe bioscoop releases meepakken.
Op mijn set (OLED854 met Denon AVR4500) ook wel Dolby Atmos, echter de set gaat nog niet automatisch over in de Atmos Sound, hoewel het Atmos Logo wel in de app van HBO Max op de tv verschijnt. Even handmatig dan maar naar de Atmos instelling op de AVR gaan, zal wel aan de instelling van de tv liggen? Hoewel als ik NF op de OLED kijk gaat de AVR wel gelijk in Atmos modus.
De OLED gaat trouwens, indien beschikbaar wel weer automatisch in de Dolby Vision weergave over.
Alleen jammer dat diverse series die in de States al wel in UHD beschikbaar zijn, hier nog niet in UHD te streamen zijn....
Duimen dat dit nog snel gaat komen...
