Was de driver 8.3 ohm of bedoelde je 5.3 ohm?

Enfin, sub speelt nu wat en bevalt prima. :D

De meting solo op de MLP is matig maar dat verwachtte ik al.
Hij dient samen te spelen.

Beetje voorzichtig met klankconclusies derhalve, maar wat ik wel hoor is zeer veelbelovend. :thumbs-up:
Het rendement is meer dan OK.
Solo en verder verwijderd van de MLP dan de JTRs een 4,5 dB hogere setting dan die twee. Komt dus aardig overeen.
Amp doet alles op de sloffen en de Maximus speelt LUID zonder morren waarbij de kast geen krimp geeft.
Fijn is ook dat er nabij de sub niets rammelt of merkbaar resoneert.

Nog even een metalen bord met stuiters op de speakerkast zetten. Daar had ik jaren 60 m'n mechanische herrie-wekker in staan op een metalen bureau. Werkte goed om me wakker te krijgen. :)

Wat meer indrukken.

Onmiskenbaar de autoriteit/controle van een grote driver.
Weergave is dynamisch als het moet en relaxed als het kan.
Ruimte wordt met groot gemak gevuld.

Laag volume is geen enkel probleem. Er is geen drempelwaarde, PA driver of niet. :thumbs-up:

Hoog volume beperk ik bewust. De locatie geeft nogal wat overlast in de rest van de woning en ik heb buren.
Ik zie het niet als problematisch aangezien de locatie nooit solo was bedoeld.

Klopt, echter de sub is bedoeld om samen te spelen met 2 andere en gecombineerd gaat dat goed komen.
Wel mis ik uiteraard output van juist die sub daar.
1,5 meter verder is het echter feest voor een ander. :pompom: :D

Heb laatst een setup gehoord bij Daudio en dat was erg goed.
ze noemen dat een dubbele bas array waarmee je 2 subs gebruikt die in het midden van de voorste en achterste wand zijn opgesteld.
De achterste sub staat uit fase en gebruikt wat delay om de staande golfen en dips te corrigeren op de luisterplaats.
Even een Subje bij bouwen  ;D
