De bodem is afgelakt en de rest heeft nu 1 laag.
Kast staat inmiddels op wieltjes en dat gaat erg fijn. :thumbs-up:

Vandaag even niets en morgen de 2de laklaag. Tijdje laten uitharden en eind van de week de drrrrrriverrrrrrr monteren.

En rood maakt groot ben ik achter. :D

De Neutrik FastOn kabelschoentjes die ik had liggen zijn met mijn huidige tang niet te krimpen.
Ook is het nog maar de vraag of de Van Damme 4mm2 inclusief schoentjes ( inmiddels besteld ) lekker op de
SpeakOn past.
Om alle opties open te houden een assortiment schoentjes en krimptang (Knipex :thumbs-up:) besteld.

De Van Damme wordt mogelijk Audioquest Slip(Extreme) 14/2.

Mooie sub, benieuwd hoe hij klinkt!

Mooi materiaal ook, ATX bumper plates, ik heb het op goedkopere namaak gehouden maar weegt evenveel (heb bij aankoop schijven een weegschaal meegenomen :D).

Kleine vraag, ik zie dat je de woofers niet 'flush' infreest maar er 'gewoon' op vijst, is dat een bewuste keuze naar stevigheid toe? Ik twijfel er ook over, je hebt nu eenmaal veel meer hout om in te vijzen, lijkt mij technisch iets beter, gemakkelijker om te fineren, gemakkelijker te (de)monteren, enkel voordelen eigenlijk. Ziet er ook wel stoer uit.

ATX maakt mooi spul.
Hun squatstands waren voor mij dé oplossing.

Ik heb 2 sets ATX urethaan bumpers, 10 en 25, de rest is 4 grip urethaan die fitness seller verkoopt. Merkloos en superfijne plates. :thumbs-up:

Nu de bouw voltooid is mijn ervaringen :

MDF is een prima keus. Tenzij je op gewicht let is er geen reden om multiplex te verkiezen boven MDF.
Wel dien je rekening te houden met dikkere plaat tov mplex om voldoende sterkte te garanderen.

MDF hoef je niet apart te gronden of de kopse kanten te sealen met mdfplamuur.
Goede, ;), grondverf dekt snel en de zuiging is minimaal.

De plamuur en schroefplaatsen blijf je zien bij strijklicht.
Ik heb goed opgelet, maar toch. Voor mij geen punt aangezien ik wilde zien of het optrad of niet.
Het is minimaal en onder normaal licht zie je niets.

edit: mijn skills met plamuur zijn beperkt. lees verder on how to plamuur op de volgende pagina.

Enkel klemmen en lijmen is risicovol. Een plaat loopt snel uit het lood.
Beter: schroeven of nagelen en lijmen, deuvels en lijmen (inmiddels proefstrookjes gedaan), lamellenfrees en biscuits en lijmen (van wat ik lees).
