En alvast een werkvlak gemaakt, gebruik makend van bestaande infrastructuur. :D

Ligt zeer solide en volledig in hoogte verstelbaar.

Bracing is wel een dingetje, aangezien de motorunit ( Neodymium) vrij diep is tov Ferrite.
De bracing moet dus vanwege de geringe diepte van de kast uit het centrum.

Gelukkig is ie wel smal dus een box van 180x180 om de motor heen is genoeg.

En toch past het bij het interieur, hmmmmm :lookaround: :D

Vanwege de bracing, die een stuk eenvoudiger kan met een ondiepe driver, eens gekeken naar de 21LW2500.
Maar de 21NTLW5000 is toch wel ideaal voor deze box en de eisen.

ik zou niet te zuinig doen met bracing . ik ervaar daar nog regelmatig de na delen van . ondanks de 40mm behuizing
grote driver met grote uitslag moet in een bunker .

Zou dual drive daarvoor een oplossing kunnen zijn? Kan de uitslag per driver ook nog eens minder. Of worden de kosten dan te hoog?

Dual drive is idd een zeer effectieve manier om de kast tot zwijgen te brengen.

Dat zou dan hier 2x18" of 15" moeten zijn anders wordt het wel wat erg groot. :D

@Flakkees : 4 bracings . Twee vertikaal , twee horizontaal van 18mm MDF. Hoe dik de wanden ook zijn, bracing kan veel meer betekenen.
Beter dunne wanden met super bracing dan omgekeerd.

Een derde, juist op die positie , geeft een mooiere respons zonder correctie.

Ik verwacht nog meer omvang, mogelijk meer druk, en laat mij verrassen door de totale weergave.

Idd een tijdje geduurd. Ik heb het echter wel in het vizier gehouden. De stap naar passieve subwoofers maakt(e) het sowieso veel eenvoudiger.
Had echter ook zo veel andere dingen aan mijn hoofd dat het uitstel werd.

Ik weet nu niet welk gebied je juist wenst te verbeteren, maar hou er rekening mee dat in een bassreflex systeem de output van de poort in tegenfase staat met die van de driver. Wil je dus een gesloten sub laten samenwerken met een bassreflex sub dien je dat zeer gericht te doen i.s.m een high- en/of lowpass filter.

Ik werk hier nu al met een highpass op de JTRs ivm het wegvallen onder de poorttune. Die gaat gewoon wat hoger. :thumbs-up:

Toch even vermelden dat (tenzij er iets veranderd is in zijn setup) wat Marco heeft, een bandpass sub is en geen bassreflex systeem. Dat maakt wel een gigantisch verschil aangezien er énkel uit de poorten geluid komt (en je dus niet met die fasekering zit). Die kan je perfect combineren met een gesloten systeem.

Dat wat jij zegt, en de extra output die een bandpass geeft.
Heeft mij toen dat ontwerp laten kiezen.
Geen timing probleem.
