mede forum-ers met ervaring met dit type stekkerblok? (MD06 EU mkIII; geen verdere filtering)

die alu/blauwe mkII (€129) ken ik wel van jaren geleden...
...deze opvolgende alu/zwarte mkIII (€169) zou beter kunnen zijn?

Geen idee of de mk3 echt beter is. Volgens de website: Bij deze nieuwe versie heeft men de RF inteferentie met 40 % weten te reduceren.

Ik heb de mk2 versie met de rode en groene led. De groen is uit. Betekent dit dat de surge protection nu niet meer actief is of is het ledje gewoon stuk? Kan het worden gerepareerd? Maakt het eigenlijk uit? Als bij ons in de buurt de bliksem inslaat slaan de stoppen gewoon door. Weet iemand of het gerepareerd kan worden?

Ik heb ook de MKII en bij mij brand het groene ledje heel zwak, je ziet het bijna niet. Dat schijnt ook zo te horen. Misschien dat je in het donker wel de groene ziet branden.

Ik heb er twee waarvan de een fel oplicht en de ander zwak. Op de felle zit weinig aangesloten. Op de andere veel apparatuur. Misschien heeft het met de belasting te maken

Most modern surge strips and house protectors have circuit breakers and temperature fuses to prevent serious consequences. A thermal fuse disconnects the MOV when it gets too hot. Only the MOV is disconnected leaving the rest of the circuit working but not protected. Often there is a LED light to indicate if the MOVs are still functioning. Older surge strips had no thermal fuse and relied on a 10 or 15 amp circuit breaker which usually blew only after the MOVs had smoked, burned, popped, melted and permanently shorted.

Update Supra zweden:

We have some issues with the green led a while ago, a few of them broke after a while. Can you please check the handwritten batch number under the mains block. I will trace it and check what version you got.

We change circuit board and the green led a while ago, it is more protected now.

Even if the green led broke the surge protection works as normal. If you got a large surges the protection circuit will cut the power, small surges will be set automatically. If you still prefer we can change the green led for you F.O.C.

Our circuit is not connected until there is a surge. We use a gas discharge tube which connect the circuit at a surge. If a larger surge the circuit will brake the power and the circuit board must be replaced. We have changed approx. 10 circuit boards after hit by lightning.

Bestelling van mk3 maar weer herroepen. Denk nog na over het gratis repareren.

En, merk je verschil tussen de MKII en MKIII? Of heb je toch de MKII laten repareren?

Zo gelaten, volgens Supra Zweden was er geen probleem met het stekkerblok

Ik heb in januari jl de gok gewaagd en dus 'n MD06 MKIII gekocht (zonder filter / lampjes)
Na 'n week wennen, vond ik deze MD06 in mijn setup beter passen dan m'n BlackNoise Slim5
