Iemand wellicht ervaring met het volgende:

Ik mis fors wat (impact) laag bij toevoegen van de hoogtekanalen (native of upscaled) aan filmweergave. De 5.1 weergave heeft overall meer impact en de immersive klinkt ielig. Is me niet eerder opgevallen, maar wil niet zeggen dat het er niet is geweest.

Als bevestigingstest heb ik de UHD van de eerste transformers film gepakt, knalstukje in het woestijndorp. Met de native atmostrack mis ik fors aan laag, terug naar de 5.1 track vult dit wel normaal aan. Heights staan gewoon op 80Hz afgefilterd, dus de sub doet net zo mee als bij de rest. Nog niet zonder Audyssey geprobeerd overigens, maar zou raar zijn als dat uitmaakte.

Betwijfel overigens of het met de weergave van de hoogtekanalen te maken heeft, ik mis teveel om enkel van de heights afkomstig te zijn (naar mijn idee), maar nameten zou mooi zijn. Iemand een tip hoe ik de hoogtekanalen kan meten/aansturen uit REW via hun eigen uitgang? Volgensmij gaat dit niet, maar wellicht is er toch een mogelijkheid.

Nee, interne, hoogtekanalen zijn de enige die hierop zitten, de rest is extern.
En daar de subs t laag doen, lijkt vermogensverlies niet denkbaar.

De weergavekwaliteit van de midbas bepaald (sterk) de kwaliteit van de gehele basweergave. Dus het had gekund.
Maar dan zit de oorzaak in de upscaler. Van stereo naar prologic, deed je stereo geluid ook geen goed. Ik denk dat het hier ook zoiets is. Al is het verschil minder uitgesproken.

En kloppen de afstanden tov wat je meet of wijkt dat erg af ?
(ik gis hier, maar er zou iets mis kunnen gaan in de timing/fase)

Oef, meen dat wel nagemeten en correct bevonden te hebben, maar is al ff geleden.
Zal m nog ff checken.

Dat je minder impact hebt is namelijk vreemd.
3D audio ramt normaal gesproken behoorlijk. :devil:

Zet audyssey eens uit zou ik zeggen. En schroef eventueel de woofer met 6db op.
Verder alle meuk uit zoals dynamic etc..

Dankje voor de gouden tip. Even vlugvlug getest, maar dit lijkt m te zijn geweest. Die opties stonden aan.
Beetje bizar dat deze enkel beschikbaar komen als er een track draait, vind ik persoonlijk een bugje. Zeker omdat alle andere enhancements van bijv. audyssey al door mij uitgeschakeld waren.

En zo moet je alle formaten even langs: DD, DTS Master enz. Deze opties verschijnen inderdaad tijdens het spelen.

Ga ik zeker even doen.

Blijf m vaag vinden, zou haast zeggen dat t na een firmware update veranderd is, maar kan dat niet hard maken.

Nee dat niet, je moet echt naar setup, audio, surround settings. In info zie je enkel de audyssey settings en dit valt erbuiten.

Graag gedaan, daarvoor zijn we hier  8)

Of het een Bug is weet ik niet, maar meer een irritante gewoonte van veel merken.
Want vaak gaan instellingen bij een frimware upgrade naar een soort "defalt" - hoe raar die defalt keus ook is...

Oppo maakte het nog erger, daar moest je na een fw een "factory reset" doen en daarna al je persoonlijke instellingen weer maken  :(
