Werkt een iPhone4 ook goed samen met Wadia 170i transport?

Ik overweeg om een Wadia transport te kopen om de muziek af te kunnen laten spelen die op mijn iPhone staat.
Echter in de documentatie van Wadia heeft men het alleen over een iPod.

Past een IPhone4 hier fysiek niet op? (Die is namelijk een stukkie dikker dan een iPod) En als ie er wel goed oppast werken de apparaten goed samen?
Heeft iemand ervaring met deze combinatie?

heb zelf de iphone sGS, en dan roept deze telkens in de display, dit accessoire is niet geschikt voor deze Iphone

laatst iemand met een Iphone 4 langs gehad en die werkte wel

het gaat dan om de Wadia 170i transport

anders een locatie zoeken waar ze deze ter demo hebben staan, bv Hobo hifi

Weet dat het Onkyo NDS-1 dock (vele malen getest en bewezen) precies hetzelfde klinkt, kan en maar veel goedkoper is. Het verschil? de behuizing van de Wadia komt wat hoogwaardiger op de testers over, that`s it.

Yep, here's the response direct from Onkyo:

"The Onkyo ND-S1 was certified at launch for:-



iPod touch (1G and 2G), iPod classic, iPod (5G*), iPod nano (1G*, 2G, 3G, and 4G)



So the ND-S1 is not officially certified for the iPhone 3GS/4 (and Onkyo has never claimed otherwise) though in practice it will play back content from them and charge them... but you will invariably need to have the device in Airplane mode to avoid pops and clicks (metal objects within the vicinity of the iPhone's antenna can act as a ground plane).



BTW, there appears to have been a separate issue affecting Apple devices and all digital docks in general but iOS 4.2.1 appears to have remedied that.

Ik dacht ook eigenlijk dat de Wadia 170 hype er wel een beetje vanaf is omdat Apple het protocol om het signaal digitaal (en dus vóór de Apple dac) af te takken zo min of meer heeft vrijgegeven.
Het zou Wadia sieren om 9nu er veel meer opties zijn) de 170 wat in prijs te verlagen, wel eens gezien wat dáár inzit
