Alvast bedankt!

Hi, I'm an electronic QA engineer (No Panasonic), I have the TX-P42S30E (fw1.306) model and since the basic electronic design/driving method of these 2011 plasma are the same. This FBr affects this S30 also and as there is no official solution, try mine.
The (temporarily) FBr. fix is:
TAPE/Cover the front C.A.T.S. sensor with a dark tape/label. (I used a smal cut piece from the banner label/tag that comes with the tv) AND in the picture menu Set CATS/Eco Mode = ON.
Test/Proof/Explanation:
1)Set CATS=OFF. Watch a dvd/br/video when the scene change/jump to the 'Brighter' scene, Pause/rewind/replay these scenes and FBr. will shows up on the same brighter frame/position.
2)Now set CATS=ON (contrast/brightness will autoset to some levels), tape the sensor and watch the same brighter scenes and FBr. should be gone now or less visible, it is still there as the basic design/driving is still working.
3)Probably this is the Panasonic Autobright driving/feature designed to lower the powerconsumption?/ECO friendly?
As a HDjunk, I must say these Panasonic-eco engineers must be Blind!, putting crap on HD visuals!, a big Failure! Unacceptable!
-When the CATS=OFF, the Autobright 'feature' takes full control and will measure the (luminance?) scene by scene and adjust it in accordance= visible FBr.
-When the CATS=On, the sensed outside-light readings will now be mixed with the autobright-tech and adjusted.
-By taping the sensor and CATS=ON, the readings stablized at the lowest light level results less visible FBr.
-Varying FBr. experiences depends on the settings CATS/Eco mode/Power savings/picture modes, thats why ppl see and some don't.
Ok, for the ones that cares, please test the above method and let us know if this helps you too, to have less FBr..
And if the someones can contact those Panasonic-engineers to fix this FBr. failure!
Thanks!
