iPad voor vlc euh omgekeerd, komt er binnenkort aan mits hij door de app store commissie wordt goedgekeurd.

Zou mooi zijn de beste speler beschikbaar, zonder streaming of conversie al je video files formaten bekijken. Alhoewel sommigen te zwaar zullen zijn, zolang er geen hardware ondersteuning is.

Videolan has submitted their VLC for iPad app to the App Store this week, giving users a chance to playback all different types of video files on their tablet.

While we still wait for Apple's official blessing, the site AppAdvice was given a test build of the universal binary, and they put up a small preview.

The app supports Xvid, AVI, and DivX file formats flawlessly, as well as MKV, a container normally used for high-resolution video.

Unfortunately, unlike other third-party media players, VLC will not let you access your videos wirelessly from other computers, but that is hardly a deal breaker.

VLC for iPad is still pending approval, but should appear in the App Store next week, for free.

Is toch niet gek daar zijn al 100 andere programma's voor. Maar nog geen die alles van je ipad afspeelt en files via itunes op je ipad zet.

maar waarom er dan niet bij in stoppen ? Ben ik in 1 keer klaar. Streamen is toch niets nieuws voor VLC ?

Ze denken waarschijnlijk eerst maar eens zien of deze app wordt geaccepteerd in de huidige vorm dan kan de rest er altijd nog aan gebowud worden. Wellicht zijn ze bang dat hij wordt afgekeurd als hij airtunes kwaliteiten krijgt oftewel hij lijkt teveel op hun eigen app en dus afkeur. Zou me niks verbazen als streamen er later nog bijkomt.
