It seems that the differences between the US and UK releases of Buffy the Vampire Slayer may become more than just the price and the odd interview added to the discs. According to the BBC, a new commentary has recently been recorded by BtVS executive producers Joss Whedon and Marti Noxon and actor Seth Green for the Season 4 episode "Wild At Heart". This commentary obviously was not present on the Region 2/4 version of this season, released a couple of months ago.
Significant additions such as additional commentaries will make the American sets even more attractive as an alternative to the R2 versions, especially if the asking price remains about half that of the UK.
Season 3 is expected to be released in R1 in December, with Season 4 following in the middle of next year. More details on any other additional material when we get them.

Misschien komt het extra commentaar nog eens los op CD uit (of 'beschikbaar'). Kwestie van synchronisatie, zeker met het PAL snelheidsverschil ;)
