Title: Anchor Bay in de problemen ?
Post by: J.A.F._Doorhof on April 29, 2002, 15:56:40
Gevonden als gerucht, en laten we hopen dat het ook echt een gerucht is.

QuoteDue to a TON of legal problems going on with Anchor Bay (involving apparent and suspected tax fraud, copyright infringement, and money laundering), and due specifically to a new lawsuit instigated by Bill Lustig (who has supplied mucho testimonial), ALL ANCHOR BAY DVDS ARE NOW OUT OF PRINT! A court order has stopped production and distribution of ALL AB DVDs – quite possibly for good! Again, this is NO joke! So get your ass to stores and pick up the discs you need NOW, 'cuz you may never see them again. It's possible they may even get yanked from shelves. This news is breaking fast around the 'net, so you may want to get there before other horror communities find anything out. This ruling just came down yesterday, so hurry!

Dit is het officiele Anchor Bay antwoord:

QuoteA recent internet news item that claimed Anchor Bay Entertainment was pulling its product from the marketplace is entirely false. All statements made in that posting concerning any lawsuits, infractions, etc. are complete fiction, and were not based on any factual information about Anchor Bay Entertainment, its business practices and relationships with retailers and/or production staff."
