Title: Optoma UHD60 4k home cinema reviews
Post by: bartvv on December 12, 2017, 11:35:51
Sinds een paar maanden is de Optoma UHD60 4k projector leverbaar, en nu sinds december ook de UHZ65 laser 4k projector.

Hierbij een paar reviews van de UHD60 projector: (

In a world where weíve become accustomed to the idea of having to spend at least $5000 for a decent native 4K projector, the quality you can get out of the Optoma UHD60 for just $1,999 feels little short of miraculous. (

We have a winner, but it was a close call, with the Optoma UHD60 eeking out the Performance award in this class, and that pesky Epson HC4000 taking the Value award.  Together, they represent two tough competitors and top performers that are very different. (

Hereís the bottom line: If youíve been waiting for 4K in a projector, this is the one to get. Itís about double the size of your average home theater projector, so be cognizant of the physical footprint, but it supports a wide range of mounting options and projection angles, so you should be able to get it working for your existing setup with relative ease. The Optoma UHD60 delivers unrivaled image quality at this price (and beats a lot of higher priced options), while also offering HDR support and decent onboard speakers. (

With this in mind, the Optoma UHD60 produces the sharpest image that Iíve seen in a projector in this price range. Granted, I donít have a ton of experience with projectors, but Iíve used enough of them to be able to confidently say that you wonít find anything sharper for $2,000.

Weer een mooie test, de UHD60 heeft in januari 2018 de Best Buy Award gekregen van Home Cinema Choice!

"Right from the off the UHD60ís images stand out from the same priced competition thanks to an impressive blend of sharpness, detail and HDR-ready brightness.

The biggest and best surprise about Optomaís UHD60 is how well it handles HDR.

Yet the UHD60 squeezes out more shadow detailing and subtle low-level colour information with dark HDR scenes than any sub-£5,000 HDR projector I've witnessed, which immediately makes such content feel more natural and consistent to watch

The UHD60ís bright , ultra sharp and impressively balanced pictures make this affordable PJ an instant hit.  Looking for an upgrade on a Full HD model? Look here."

Weer een mooie test voor de UHD60, nu op Projectorcentral. (

The Optoma UHD60 offers some very key advantages including high contrast, solid black level, good color calibration out of the box that can easily be tweaked to outstanding, strong HDR performance, and very low fan noise. Flesh tones in particular look warm, healthy and natural, lacking the cool bluish tint that some of the competing units manifest out of the box. In short, it is a fun projector to watch and easy to enjoy. Beyond this, its 1.6x zoom lens and lens shift make this projector more flexible than most of the 4K competition as far as choosing installation options and actually accomplishing the installation.

When it comes to the Optoma UHD60, its strengths are contrast, color balance, solid natural HDR, zoom range, lens shift, and exceptionally quiet fan noise. In each of these aspects it surpasses the 4K competition and thus offers a unique value proposition. It is much easier to get an engaging and pleasing picture from the UHD60 than from some of the competing models. If buyers were able to see all of the sub-$2000 4K projectors lined up side by side, we suspect that the UHD60 would be chosen a good share of the time on the strength of its overall subjective picture quality.
