Title: H3DII en H3DI versie 2.4 c
Post by: J.A.F._Doorhof on November 13, 2003, 13:31:44
HOLO3D Version 2.4c Beta has been released.

Version 2.4c is a minor update for Version 2.4. This release is designed for all HOLO3D users, including HOLO3D I/II users with and without HD-Aux.

ffdshow Plug-In support!
HOLO3D now supports a single DirectShow plug-in filter, such as ffdshow. You must use a ffdshow version of 2003-10-28 or newer. If desired, you can also use ffdshow to run a dScaler plugin with HOLO3D too. This only works on the Desktop display via a graphics card such as Radeon/Geforce, and not via HD-Aux output.
To enable ffdshow, go to Setup Menu -> Setup Input -> Custom Filter -> On
To use a different DirectShow plug-in filter, edit HOLO3D.INI and change the 'CustomFilter' setting to the name of your favourite DirectShow filter. The first input/output pins of that particular DirectShow plugin filter will be automatically used.

System Tray Icon Improved
- Screensaver is now re-enabled whenever HOLO3D is minimized.
- New hidden window class "HoloHidden" for Girder operation of 2-way API
- HOLO3D now can be set to properly start up minimized to System Tray, with no window or taskbar icon.
- HOLO3D Window stays hidden if automated while hidden in System Tray. Using a command line, two-way API, Girder API, the HOLO3D window will stay hidden. The HOLO3D window only shows itself automatically if it is not running hidden to system tray.

More Extensions to 2-Way API
The new HOLO3D 2-way API now returns error codes. There are also new extensions to the 2-way API. The 2-way API is useful for computer programmers and Girder users. For more information, see HOLO3D Automation FAQ.

Chroma Intensity adjustment and Chroma Offset adjustment
(Note: This is not the Chroma Delay adjustments yet.) These new Chroma adjustments in Advanced Menu makes it much simpler to correct chroma problems such as green/magenta tint, as well as difference in intensity between Red Chroma versus Blue Chroma.

Same Drivers As 2.3 and 2.4
No new drivers yet. The same 2003-10-17 drivers are included in the download. If you already installed the drivers included with Version 2.3 or 2.4, you do not need to reinstall these drivers. Also, if you are using a HOLO3D-I original board, you can keep using the drivers that came with Version 2.0 RC3, if you wish. However, the included drivers works on all HOLO3D I/II products. There are no changes to Passthrough/DVI/Chroma Delay/Resolutions.

And all the features of these versions:
Version 2.4
Version 2.3
Version 2.2c
Version 2.2a
