Just a note:
I have word from PMS that they are now HDCP-certified, and a firmware upgrade will be issued before the end of the year that will 'activate' HDCP on the Crystalio (the hardware itself ships HDCP-ready).
I guess they've heard the cries for HDCP from US users/potential users

I have been discussing this issue with PMS and received a reply stating that they will definately be going HDCP compliant, and that it would be offered as a free upgrade with the user being responsible only for shipping costs to Hong Kong..

Hoi

QuoteThe current version of Crystalio does not support HDCP, i.e. Crystalio does not decrypt the HDCP content inputted from the DVI port, the hardware design of Crystalio is HDCP ready though.
The HDCP agreement does not allow us to output the HDCP encrypted source to the RGBHV and non-HDCP compliant DVI devices. So it seems to us that there is not much value to support HDCP. We shall support HDCP if these restrictions are removed in the future.

Mee eens
