Misschien ter verduidelijking, en anders ter poching ;) nog even:

Omtrek cirkel: 2 x PI x r, waarbij r = straal v/d cirkel
Oppervlakte cirkel: PI x r2, waarbij r = straal v/d cirkel
Volume = oppervlakte x hoogte: PI x r2 x hoogte, waarbij r = straal v/d cirkel

Bedankt Oscar,

Ik heb gister al de 2-units afgetekend op het hout
dus binnenkort gaat de zaag erin.

Ook de kamers in de kop zijn afgetekend en zullen tesamen per kop 4 liters als volume geven zonder "filling"
dus een prima Q-factor van 0.5 gehaald.

Na het zagen laat ik het eindresultaat weer zien.
Veel werk maar met die formule lukte het prima
gewoon de inhoud per plaatje genomen.

Nog erg veel plaatjes hout te gaan, dus pas op je vingers, zo'n decopeer gaat ook zo door je vingers heen.

Je had jezelf toch al eerder beschadigd met de bouwerij ?

Sooooo ik ben echt benieuwd hoe het er uit ziet als je klaar bent!! Zo ver ben ik nog lang niet!! en gaat nie komen ook denk!! haha zo veel tijd!! Maar wel ontzettend goed da jij het kan opbrengen!! Ik hoop snel op meer foto's!!

Jongens,

Nu weet ik zeker dat Avalon, MartenDesign, Thalon en LumenWhite geen "speciale"  Thiel Woofers gebruiken
zij refereren nl. allen naar 9 inch.  ??? in hun referentie modellen.

Hierbij het antwoord van Thiel.

Hi,

The C220-T6 is our largest ceramic woofer, some call it 8, some 9 inch. If you use 2 woofers, you have to double the net box-volume and you will get 6 dB more sound pressure at a given voltage.

Het aftekenen van de Mountingholes.

Voor het aftekenen van de frontplate- en mountingholes moet
je ook even een passer gebruiken voor de radius.
Nauwkeurig moet je nu werken want daar komen later de bevestigingsschroeven in.

Beide panelen (Frontplate- en Mountinghole) schuren met korrel 80 om die standaard MDF waslaag te verwijderen, dus niet bij de Gamma die wasverwijderdoekjes kopen want dat is geldkloppen  >:(

Die waslaag moet ALTIJD weg bij MDF ander kun je moeilijk lijmen/schilderen.

Ik werd gek van het telkens maar verschuiven van de paneeltjes...dus een " vice" gemaakt.

Dit is wel een aanrader...uiteraard het bintje even onder 8 graden zetten  ;)...zo kun je straks ook wat beter de lijmklemmen vastdraaien en aan het eind fineren.

Even een close-up van de Tweeter en Midkamer dan zie je wat de bedoeling is...nog niet op dieptemaat ...maar wel al halverwege.

Ja, toch bedankt voor de "doordenk"  tip  ;)

De zijkanten worden na het verlijmen geschuurd en eventuele kleine oneffenheden gecorrigeerd daarna wordt alles gefineerd.

Meer forums (ook de belgische) kost te veel tijd...je komt dan niet meer aan bouwen toe
..hahahaha.. ;)

Ik heb gewoon het beste/leukste Forum gekozen......LOL  ;D

Van het week-end maak ik de 2 unit-kamers af en hoop ik de bijbehorende volume-compartimenten eruit te kunnen zagen tot 4 liter.

Leuk, ik heb voor mijn seas excel ook 4 liter  ;D. 52mm dik front sandwich, 52mm dikke wanden, heavy bracing, zand vulling, loodbitumen/glaswol/frontex scheidings-laag demping.

Ik zal eens kijken wanneer ik wat afbeeldingen openstel voor jullie ;)

GRAAG...DOEN....dat is een leuke aanwinst voor ons

"Mijn kamers"  (C12 en C79-units) zullen uiteindelijk zo een 6 cm diep (uit mijn hoofd) worden en NIET met elkaar in verbinding staan

Ik heb al goede ervaringen met mijn center waar ik ook een aparte kamer voor mijn tweeter had gebouwd.

De High end merken hebben deze methode natuurlijk al uit den treure beproefd..ik ben gewoon een na-aper  8)

Maar wat je nu aan het maken bent samen met (Guido/Doede) dat is wel erg extreem  :o  ;D

Ik heb zo het forum eens doorgebladerd, en moet zeggen dat dit forum voor DHZ veel leuker is :D

Ik ben iniedergeval met een 3 weg speaker bezig:

Thiel c2-12 hoog
Seas Excel millenium mid
Focal 11inch polykevlar laag

Filter word ontworpen tijdens metingen (die tot nu toe nog ergens anders plaatsvinden).
