KEF has added a new system to its acclaimed KHT series of home cinema loudspeakers. The KHT6000 ACE is designed to offer easy positioning and is available with optional bass enhancing stands for its satellites.

The silver finished KHT 6000 ACE is designed to complement the latest generation of flat screen TVs, combining high-end KEF Audio technologies in a consummately elegant new package. The range includes the HTC6001 centre-channel speaker and the matching HTS6001 satellites – configured to the user's system preference.

Centre stage is a Uni-Q® array with KEF's latest aluminium dome tweeter set into a 75 mm midrange cone for excellent dispersion of clear vocals throughout the room. With a line-up of no less than four 75 mm long-throw midrange/bass drivers, with ultra-low distortion motors, the sound is conveyed with outstanding clarity and conviction. The separate Uni-Q enclosure uses ACE (Acoustic Compliance Enhancement) technology to move the enclosure resonance to below the working frequency range and to absorb higher frequency acoustic modes.

The KHT 6000 ACE has been developed with ease of room and round-screen positioning in mind: at the rear of the slender elliptical-section anodized aluminium enclosures there is a new KEF Selecta-mount™ system of concealed wall brackets; or, if preferred, the owner can use neatly cable-managed standard shelf or desktop stands and the option of a reflex-ported floor stand (KEF Bass Extender™) to enhance the bass output.

The KEF KHT 6000 ACE speakers are sold on an individual basis only to afford users absolute control over the configuration of their system. Each speaker is expected to retail in the UK for a SRP of £250.00, with the optional stands available at £100.00 each.
