Zeer soeverein en ik wil het gas nu helemaal nog ff extra indrukken.
De S8's zijn met de M20D kennelijk heerlijk subtiel ,sluiten naadloos aan bij de rest en gaan retestrak loeihard. :thumbs-up:

En toch is het jammer van die fan niet? Ik had dit euvel destijds met mijn Crowns en dat begon mij toch te irriteren. Waarom ben je uiteindelijk niet voor een D-Sonic gegaan?

Na wat Atmos demo's als Amaze Horizon en Leaf kan ik enkel de loftrompet steken over Atmos.
Ik vond en vind het revolutionair.
Transparantie , resolutie ,plaatsing en impact zijn tov de voorgaande lossless formats fors gestegen.
Het verschil is m.i. veel groter dan de lossy naar lossless stap was.

Rekenkracht is met Atmos tov componentkracht(kwaliteit) sterk ingelopen en nog één stapje en de laatste heeft het nakijken.

Ook krijg je nu eindelijk het bewijs in hoeverre multichannel superieur kan zijn tov stereo. 8)

De eerste Atmos film zit erop. :tounge2:
Mad Max Fury road.
Bizar in alle opzichten. :worship:

Wat een geluid. Totaal overdonderend met Atmos. En kraakhelder.

Het beeld doet er niet voor onder , al kijk ik relatief klein.
Een 4K HDR transfer zal helemaal wiild zijn. O0

Belangrijker vind ik nog dat de invloed van de ruimte , in bijna alle situaties "make or break",  door het directe geluid van meerdere weergevers nu echt overstemd lijkt te zijn. (op het laag na dan)

Ik heb bewust "kan" gebruikt want wat er in het verleden met meerkanaals muziek qua mix is uitgehaald werd ik niet vrolijk van. :(

Tot op heden heb ik dan ook nog niets ,en buiten concertregistraties bestaat er bij mijn weten nog niets, van muziek op Atmos gehoord.

Het heeft iig de potentie tot een zeer aanwezige weergave in de ruimte, waarbij het "organische" toch echt de mensenhand zal (moet ;) ) zijn. :yin-yang:

Nog geen content maar ik ben benieuwd wat de upmixer met DTS HD master doet.

Na gisteren de tweede Atmos film vind ik nog steeds de verbetering sensationeel.
De ruimte krimpt en groeit, tolt en dondert, flitst en knalt.
Ik ben ver onder reference gebleven , desalniettemin bovenstaande.

Wat na de tweede film ook opvalt is de center.
Dat wil nog wel eens naar beneden trekken
Hoewel ik vond dat ie in mijn setup al erg goed verdween, nu zit dat dus echt in één lijn met fronts/display. 8)

Yep. Geen moment spijt van de kosten en het gedoe.
De Marantz is reeds zo goed in 3D audio
dat ik geen enkele noodzaak zie om ooit nog eens meer uit te geven voor iets dergelijks.

De S8's werden al aardig opgehemeld door andere eigenaren en zijn idd echte JTRs.

De Powersoft M20D is stil en fraai. Vermogen uiteraard meer dan afdoende en valt met de S8's nooit op tov de rest.
Ah , en fijn dat de gain te matchen valt.

Wat ik nu tegenvallend vind is dat de Game of Thrones 5 seizoens box-set geen 3D-audiotracks heeft.
Niet eens enkel seizoen 5.
