Nieuwe projector line-up Epson: TW3800, TW3000 & TW2800

Epson presenteert vandaag op de IFA in Berlijn de nieuwe projector line-up voor 2009. Naast  het high-end model de TW5000 introduceert Epson de TW3800, TW3000 en TW2800. Belangrijkste verschil met de TW3800 t.ov. de TW5000 is het gemis van de deep black technologie, hierdoor gaat het opgegeven contrast naar 20,000:1 in dynamische modus. Verder missen we de Reon-VX en frame interpolatie techniek in deze projector. Natuurlijk wel tegen een gunstigere prijs want de TW3800 zal rond de 2000 Euro gaan kosten.

De TW3000 wordt het nieuwe basismodel in de Full HD line-up van Epson. Ook dit model heeft een contrastverhouding in dynamische modus van 20,000:1, maar mist t.o.v. de TW3800 veel geavanceerde instelmogelijkheden en ook het ISF logo vinden we niet terug op de projector. Gedetailleerde prijs en leverinsinformatie is nogn niet bekend. Verwachte levering eind 2008/ begin 2009, prijs indicatie onder 2000 Euro.

De TW2800 is de laatste projector die werd aangekondigd en wordt gezien als het instapmodel Full HD projector, prijsindicatie rond 1700 Euro. 1800 lumens met een contrastverhouding in dynamische modus van 18,000:1. Meer informatie is helaas nog niet bekend, verwachte levering 2009.

Misschien kan Troje even zeggen of de 2000 ANSI Lumens van de TW3000/3800 ook echte 2000 ANSI Lumens zijn?! En wanneer niet, wat dan de verwachte werkelijke lichtopbrengst na instellen op D65 is. Want een adviesprijs onder de 1800,- Euro inclusief BTW EN licht is een aantrekkelijke combinatie.

Intermediate Motion
System: Nicht nur bei Spielfilmen in HD-Qualität offenbart der
EH-TW5000 ein bislang nicht dagewesenes Seherlebnis. Auch bei Live-Sportübertragungen,
Digitalfotos und actionreichen Videospielen der neuesten Generation
begeistert das Gerät mit lebensechten Bildern. Dabei ist es gleichgültig,
ob man Blu-ray, DVD, HD-TV oder die Settop-Box als Bildquelle benutzt
– das Ergebnis ist immer überragend. Das integrierte Intermediate
Motion System generiert Zwischenbilder für alle üblichen Bildfrequenzen

Neues 3 LCD Panel:
Der Grund für die im Vergleich zu anderen Geräten brillanteren Bilder,

3LCD-Technologie von Epson. Der Rekordkontrast von 75.000:1 ist dank
eines verbesserten D7-C²-Fine-Panels in Verbindung mit einer neu entwickelten
adaptiven Iris-Blende möglich. Dabei konnte der beeindruckende Schwarzwert
gegenüber den bisherigen D7-Modellen aufgrund der überarbeiteten Polarisationstechnologie
noch einmal verbessert werden: Die Epson DeepBlack-Technologie und eine
weiter minimierte Lichtstreuung der Epson E-TORL Lampe setzen dunkle
Filmszenerien perfekt in Szene. Und wer den Projektor unter wechselnden

Lens-Shift und
Zoom: Der Projektionsabstand lässt sich außerdem sehr variabel

ISF®
zertifiziert: Damit die optimale Bildeinstellung schnell und reproduzierbar
erreicht werden kann, hat Epson seine neuen HD-Modelle mit einem ISF®-Kalibrierungsmenü
ausgerüstet, durch das zertifizierte Fachhändler das Bild exakt und
ohne zusätzlichen Farbfilter justieren können. 

Leise durch neue
Luftwege: Der neue Epson besitzt einen neu entwickelten elektrostatischen
Luftfilter an der leicht zugänglichen Rückseite. Auch wurden alle
Luftwege im Inneren optimiert, so dass eine deutliche Erhöhung der
Lichtleistung bei einem Betriebsgeräusch von nur 22dB möglich ist.

The EH-TW3000 integrates

Ik zag het ook staan 'naast de tw 5000'. Even headline aanpassen. Ook maar even de twee andere modellen de DW420 en DW2 aankondiging gepost.

Ik raak het spoor even bijster, wat bedoel je nou?
Ik heb voorheen gezegd dat ik de positionering van de TW980 naast de TW1000 opvallend vond, omdat ze elkaars markt zouden verstoren.

Nu worden er weer 3 projectoren geïntroduceerd waarvan de prijzen niet ver van elkaar af lijken te gaan liggen.
Wat heeft de 5000 hier dan mee te maken? En welke appels met welke peren meng ik dan?

GVD, nog voordat ie op de markt komt wordt je al genaaid, vergelijk deze release eens met de Engelstalige versie onder, 11%!!!

Wat mij opvalt bij deze nieuwe projectoren, is dat ze allemaal uitkomen met een hoger ansilumen dan hun voorgangers.

En mensen staren zich graag blind op getalletjes, blijkt maar weer.
Maar ik vind deze projectoren in een bepaald opzicht wel mooier dan de huidige modellen.
Deze nieuwe zien er mooi strak uit, de huidige een beetje ''blobbig'' om het zo te noemen.
