Nonsuch is the first in a series of expanded XTC album editions including 5.1 Surround mixes, new stereo mixes and High-Resolution stereo mixes of the original material along with a wealth of extra audio and visual material.

Steven Wilson has produced the new mixes with the input of founder band member Andy Partridge and the full approval of the band.

Presented in special packaging with an expanded booklet and sleeve-notes by Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding and Dave Gregory, this is the cd and blu-ray version.

Als fan van 5.1 en Steven Wilson zal ik dit zeker gaan volgen. Zijn andere remix werk met King Crimson, Jethro Tull en ELP is zeer de moeite waard.

Ik heb de cd/bd set nu twee dagen in huis. De muziek is erg lekker, kende eigenlijk alleen de Balled of peter Pumkinhead en The disappointed. De rest van de muziek is ook goed te verteren.

De geluidskwaliteit is super, kraakhelder. De mix is ook zeer goed. Veelvuldig gebruik van de rears zoals inmiddels de standaard is bij Steven Wilson.

In het bovenstaande bericht staat dat de BD in DTS MA is, er staat echter ook een LPCM audio stream op.
